Just a perfect hotel.

A disconnected moment in this Riad, 15 to 20 minutes by car from the medina. A relaxing calm in this magnificent residence.
The rooms and bedding are very comfortable, the garden (huge) is very well maintained and beautiful.
The restaurant is also a sure bet. And perfect service by Abdel-Kader, who is adorable and very professional!
A late departure was graciously granted to us.
If we return to Marrakech, we will stay there, that is certain.
Thank you to the entire team.

Perfect stay.

We loved our stay at the Riad Jawad. The place is absolutely stunning, surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. It is outside the center of Marrakech but remains at a very good distance if you wish to go there in the evening by taxi. The restaurant serves very good international and Moroccan dishes at very reasonable prices. The rooms are spacious and the staff is lovely. In short, we had a very pleasant stay and would have liked to stay a few more days.

What a dissapointment

Totally not what we expected. A room comes at 188 euro's a night but they never came close to match that price. It started with the check in. Everybody had to fill out paper forms and provide unnessecary information. We were promised tea but had to ask for it ourselves twice. Breakfast is served from 08u until 10.30u. We asked if 07.30u is possible because we had a morning flight. That was not possible, but they could serve a prepared breakfast the night before. When we asked for other options the guy said he would find a solution and left. A couple of minutes later we were brought to our rooms. Arriving at the room it turned out occupied. He was mistaken he said, but arriving at the second room it was the same story. Arriving at the third room it turned out they were still cleaning it (it was 16.15u with check in from 15.00u). Probably one of the worst things was that the guy showing us the rooms didn't seem the care at all. Then diner. Honestly, there was nothing good about that. The Pizza's were terrible (cut slices of cheddar cheese on it, seriously?), the vergin mojito cocktail was the worst ever (with lots of meth scrupules, unbelievable), the ice cream for dessert we did send back and the cappuccino turned out to be some weird hot chocolate kind of thing. What are the odds that pretty much everything is totally off?
But even after that there was more dissapointment to come. The matrass was very hard and sagging, and the shower head was leaking. And when we went to bed at 22h (we had to get up early for our flight which the hotel knew), 15 minutes later somebody was banging at the door and wanted to give us a prepared breakfast. Really?! The next morning we initially got the wrong bill because the promised not to bill the ice cream. This hotel is defenitely worth the money, not even close. Hospitality, service and food are a drama.
