UNBEARABLE SEWAGE SMELL

UNBEARABLE SEWAGE SMELL
This was without a doubt one of the most unpleasant stays we have ever had. The sewage smell coming from the bathroom was extreme and impossible to ignore. Scented candles were lit everywhere to mask the odor, which only highlighted how serious the problem actually was. Sleeping was practically impossible because of the stench.
The air conditioning made constant loud noise and there was no window that could be opened for fresh air. As a result, you were literally trapped in a room filled with an unbearable smell.
It is incomprehensible that this accommodation presents itself as a spa while such basic and serious issues are not addressed. Absolutely not recommended.

Incredibly Overpriced for what is is

Seriously overpriced for what is. A real disappointment in many ways, we have travelled all over the world. It just felt like we were being totally ripped off.

Beautiful quiet riad off the busy areas. Hosts and staff were lovely and very helpful, including meeting us where the taxi could drop us and walking us to the riad, and helping us carry luggage when we left (even if we didn't need it!). Location can be a bit hard to find without guide so accept the help on arrival. Also be aware in Marrakesh some walkways in the medina near the square are closed at night so know your routes.
In the riad one feels constantly pampered. Tea and nibbles appeared for us whenever we returned from an excursion. Room was not large but beautifully appointed with a profusion of luxurious spa toiletries and rose petals scattered about to greet us!. There's a tiny and very personal hammam on site. We were able to order a lovely dinner on site the night of our arrival, including a bottle of wine. The dining area on the terrace is cool and inviting. Overall a lovely stay.

The accommodations or beds are fabulously spotless and quality service meals breakfast views and attention and care are fabulous so the spirit of the crew is not a coincidence the quality is not a coincidence ....................
