We stayed4 nights at Dar Charkia. The location is very close to the center of the Souks. No more than 5 minutes walk. Continue to the main square, Jem El Fnaa. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a friendly staff member and then we were allowed to sit in the central room. to Moroccan tea was reserved. Let's get some rest. Not much later we were allowed to go to our room, on the ground floor. Clean and tidy was the room. After we had settled in, we set off. We got a
detailed map and useful tips. The bed slept wonderfully. The breakfast was really excellent and varied every day. What lovely ladies in the kitchen! It was so elaborate that we hardly needed lunch. One evening we had dinner at Dar Charkia and we can definitely recommend that. On the day of departure we had to check out at 11:00. Our luggage was safely stored and we were allowed to stay on the terrace and in the dining room all the time before departure. We were also served Moroccan tea free of charge. The transfer from the Riad to the Airport was arranged for us. Overall we had a fantastic stay and time in Marrakech.

Relaxed stay in Marrakech

We spend a wonderful 10 days in this little hotel at the edge of the medina. We loved the room, firm bed, good hygiene and the very friendly and welcoming staff.

Favorite riad of my 2 week trip

Beautiful, clean riad. Great location. Helpful staff and best breakfast of my trip. Quiet and comfortable with good lighting in the room.

Fantastic stay great team and all you need and more.

The team at Dar Charkia were so hospitable, Samira the Manager and Rashid the night Manager were so attentive and helpful. The room was very Marrakech charming and bright and kept exceptionally clean by the house keeping team. The Riad was ideally located for accessing the old City and a short walk from everything whilst also by Marrakech standards being tranquil. With a fantastic roof terrace. The breakfast was varied and well prepared and simple and a great start to the day.
I cannot recommend Dar Charkia enough my wife and I were delighted with our stay. Thank you.

Welcoming staff

Five star !
The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was so good fresh orange juice was amazing. The front desk lady was the sweetest trying so hard to get us a proper traditional spa to go to and arranging us a ride to the train. The room was comfortable and super clean. The bedding was so comfortable. Would highly recommend this location. Close walk to everything !
