Great place to stay

Riad Dar Alami is a beautiful riad, everything is clean and the room is comfortable with a decoration that reflects Moroccan and Fez culture. Thanks for everything, it was really great. My thanks go to everyone who contributed to this jewel. I will definitely be back to visit this riad again. Thank you Adel for everything you've done for us. I highly recommend this riad. Moreover, the location is ideal, close to the main attractions, which makes the stay an unforgettable experience.

Dar Alami Salaj is a beautiful riad with an authentic Moroccan atmosphere. Everything was perfect – from the cleanliness of the rooms to the stylish decor. Perfect location. Close to taxis, easy access to the old Medina. Safe. The owner makes sure you’re in and safe.

We were only going to stay 2 nights, but extended our stay 3 more nights.
The owner was very kind and helpful.
The breakfast was great, egg, fruit, Moroccan breads, coffee, Moroccan tea.
The rooms are very comfortable and traditional.

Book the superior suite

I was hesitant to book here at first due to the lack of reviews but I am so glad that I did. The location was perfect- in the medina but not too far from where the taxis will drop you off. The breakfast was plentiful and the hosts very accomodating when we wanted to get an early breakfast.
My husband and I had the Superior Suite. It consists of two rooms. You enter into a room that has a sofa/sitting area and a double bed. Then you go in to a huge bedroom with a king bed and a twin bed. The bedroom has a mini fridge in it which made it nice to come back to cold drinks after a day in the heat. The AC worked great and the shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. My daughter had a double room and my son had a twin room. Those rooms are on the smaller size but perfectly functional. Like most Riads in the medina there are some steep stairs.
