MUST stay here if you are visiting!

Fantastic Hotel!, great staff, outstanding decor and the best thing, only 25min frim the airport so you miss the nightmare transport cingestiin ( can be upto 4 hours to get into city). Food was delicious, servings generous. Has a bar/ lounge area and restaurant on top floor. Highly recommend using this as a stay while you tour

Excellent hotel

Outside of city but also outside of traffic. Also stayed at kempinski and shangri la this trip and khubilai was excellent. Highly recommend.

Loved Khubilai hotel - New property - beautiful rooms, strong shower pressure, towels and bedding felt luxurious! Great onsite dining options - enjoyed the outside terrace with the Ger/Yurt over looking the steppes. It is the closest hotel to the Chinggis Khan airport - hence farthest from the city but only about 30 min taxi ride into downtown area. Though on the outskirts of the city, plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance. We were flying out to Khuvsgul for a week and the hotel safely stored our excess luggage for free - friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent experience

I understand that the Khubilai is the closest hotel to the airport which still makes it 30-35 minutes away. As terrible as traffic is in UB the closer the better.
We had a very spacious and beautiful room. The staff were cordial and efficient which made for an excellent experience.
