Stayed one night to be close to Playa Puerto Angelito for (excellent) whale- & dolphin-spotting trip with Screaming Reels starting at 7am the next morning (if doing same worth rehearsing walk to beach in the light the day before).
The staff member who greeted me on arrival was helpful, and agreed the road layout was a bit confusing in the vicinity! (hotel maybe best approached from main road) My room was basic (as expected for the price) but clean and I got a sea view as requested. The bed was large with fresh linen. I was on the top floor so several sets of stairs to climb. No towel but soap included. Traffic noise woke me occasionally. Decent aircon.

Bad at first but Fernando saved the night

Went for the New Year’s party 2026 for 2225 pesos all you can eat and drink. There was a menu but… At 10:15 we went for the “all night buffet” and they were out of turkey and pork leg the teriyaki beef and chicken Gordon blue were delicious. At the table drinks were slow at first with the first waitress until Fernando came to help, the drinks started flowing and empty containers vanished gracias Fernando

The room was clean and it was on the main strip. The street was busy when we stayed, it was a fiesta. The bathroom was very small, the toilet was washed when you showered. The price was right.
