Not the best experience

Usually, when I have nothing nice to say, I say nothing at all however, in this case, I’m going to speak out. This hotel is in a fine location BUT, the rooms need much improvement. If you’re lucky enough, you will get a room that actually gets daylight we weren’t that fortunate. One window opens into a courtyard so no privacy, daylight or fresh air. The AC unit was so loud and obnoxious we couldn’t sleep. The bed and pillows not comfortable, hair dyer barely workable. Overall not a good or comfortable stay especially for the cost. Breakfast is okay but doesn’t include a cappuccino or latte, go down the street for that.

Hotel Azul is outstanding! We had such a wonderful stay. The hotel common areas, restaurant, and rooms are beautiful and the staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We could not have asked tor a better location in the city. We will be back!

The entire staff was welcoming and kind. They were also very friendly and gave us great food recommendations. We felt comfortable and as if it was home away from home.

Nothing but wonderful things to say about this hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff is helpful, breakfast was fantastic, the rooftop bar is perfect. We will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Oaxaca. It is in a very clean and safe area of Centro and everything is very walkable from here.
