simple, clean, nice pool, great staff ( thanks Eliana). and great price. would go back.
much better than the nearby location.
i loved it, i felt very safe and taken care.
unfortunately no kettle in the room, or places where to dry clothes

Price performance does not fit at all

The room was modern. The location is top - close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The disco next door did not bother us, but can be annoying for noise-sensitive guests.
Unfortunately, there are hardly any storage facilities in the room, no refrigerator, no hairdryer, room was only superficially cleaned.
Pool and sunbathing area are in the shade all day. The shower had very weak water pressure, and an unpleasant smell came from the drain.
A rusted faucet fell off during normal use. The hotel wanted to charge us the new price of 140 €, although the damage was clearly caused by wear and tear - ultimately I paid 50 €.
I can't recommend a hotel that charges guests for worn inventory and doesn't believe guests.

Unconfortable

Casa del Viento by ÓOL – A Major Letdown Compared to Our First Stay
Wow — what a complete downturn from our last visit to Holbox. The first time we stayed at Hotel Paraiso, we truly felt like we were in paradise. This time, we chose Casa del Viento by ÓOL, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment.
There was nowhere to hang our clothes, not a single chair in the room, and the beds were uncomfortably small. The idea of cleanliness seemed to rely solely on the chemical smell they sprayed — but in reality, the room was dusty and full of bugs. We killed at least 35 insects the first night just to be able to sleep.
The noise level was insane — loud music and shouting until 2 AM, and then the chaos started again at 6 AM. Forget about rest. The front desk staff was indifferent, primarily or outright rude, except for Sofia, who was the only helpful and polite person we encountered. She greeted guests with warmth and seemed to care — the rest, unfortunately, did not.
What’s frustrating is that the problems are so easily fixable — buy a chair for each room, add a small desk, install a few hangers, and actually clean the place properly. Instead, the management seems completely uninterested in improving the guest experience.
This hotel felt like a cheap nomad hostel dressed up with boutique pricing, and I would never stay here again. There’s no effort, no comfort, and no hospitality — just noise, dust, bugs, and bad vibes. Choose somewhere else.

To avoid

A lady at the reception was really unpleasant with these dreadlocks, the other very friendly people. We changed rooms because on the lower floor we could hear people talking across the street while we had the windows closed. It was a horrible experience. The pool was really dirty despite one person taking care of it every day.
The bikes are way too expensive but the bioluminiscences were really top.
The room there was no place to put the suitcases or storage, no wardrobe for linens etc.

TRAVEL BEWARE GO ElSEWHERE

This place is nothing like the photos. After checking in disappointed immediately pool area lacking, no bar, rooms basic, the patio is more a Terrance which between that and the door the room is dining unprotected within the first 24 hours $300 cash US stollen from luggage - rooms have bugs and fruit flies galore the shower barely operates or drains — BEWARE traveler — leave nothing behind — pay the extra 200 save yourself the thievery and book elsewhere !!
