Excellent family vacation!
I stayed with my family (wife and daughters) for 5 nights and 6 days, and honestly, we had an excellent time. The staff's service was very good; in fact, on the third day, they changed my room and gave me a better one for the same rate. They treated us very well, the room cleanliness was excellent, and the front desk was the best. The rooms were very good and the hotel's location is the best, which is why we always stay at this hotel. We didn't need to move the car at all; we did everything walking and enjoying the weather and the atmosphere. The coffee at the hotel's bakery is great!! Maybe in December we will visit Ensenada again with the whole family and I plan to book at this same hotel, Posada El Rey Sol, again.

This was our second time staying at the property. The first time was great, this time it was terrible. The other guests were loud and held parties until late in the night. They trashed the common sitting area on the second floor and made a mess of the pool area. The staff was unable or unwilling to step in to ensure all guests were able to enjoy the property and actually sleep at night. Staff was notified about this issue on several occasions on multiple days and did nothing to help. At checkout we were told that it is not normally like this and that they hope we would stay again. Not sure I will take that chance again based on the response we received during and after the issues. If the owner/manger wants to discuss further, I would be willing.

Worse quality than a motel 6
I left a day early. No soap in dispenser, safe didn’t work and water was too hot or too cold flashing back and forth in the shower. I mentioned these to the receptionist that worked the on shift and he said he would have management call me the following day but they never did. Very upsetting

Great location, rooms a bit small for the price and beat up.my room was close to the pool so it was noisy.

The place was very pleasant, and the cleaning staff and breakfast waiters were equally good. 10/10 OMAR the best waiter, he always attended to you perfectly, it was never anything less than expected.
