Bad experience

We stayed at this property several years ago and had an excellent experience, which is why we decided to book it again. Unfortunately, it is evident that the property is no longer maintained as it once was and is managed by someone who does not seem to care about the guest experience.
In the closet, there was an open sewer drain that caused a persistent smell of sewage throughout the apartment. The shower door had been removed and replaced with a cheap plastic curtain secured with zip ties. The water heater started leaking, flooding the bathroom, soaking our personal belongings, and ruining my makeup bag. There was also a broken mirror with exposed sharp edges, a particularly worrying situation since we were traveling with children.
When I reported the bad smell, the host simply replied that “when the cleaning staff were there, no smell could be detected.” After reporting the water heater leak and the broken mirror, I received no further response. Despite numerous attempts to contact the manager, my messages were completely ignored and we were not offered any concrete solution or alternative accommodation.
I later read other reviews and discovered that several guests had already reported the same problems, which suggests that these are not isolated incidents. In the end, we decided to leave the apartment as soon as we managed to find other accommodation.
It is truly a shame, because this used to be a wonderful property. In its current condition, however, I absolutely cannot recommend it. Until the maintenance issues are resolved and guest reports are taken seriously, I suggest choosing another property.

Good accommodation and very central

Brilliant location, very central. Well equipped, great air con. Not as pretty as the pictures show, bit tired in places but suited us fine. I'd stay again! If you've never been to Malta, there's lots to see and do in Valetta, including museums, archaeology, cathedrals, shops and good places to eat and drink. Gozo is well worth a visit too. No need for adaptors btw, same plugs as UK.

Had a little trouble getting the key out of the lock box. Code was xxx7.5 not 7. Otherwise all good.

Close to main tourist area. Rooms were nice.A couple of things were not working perfectly but the management did very well to have them rectified very effectively.
