Very Good and Affordable Hotel in Northern Luxembourg
While I very - and I mean it: VERY - highly recommend all 3 of them, the plus of Cornelyshaff is that, it has a local brewery inside the premises (beers are good but not elite); but, its rooms&furniture is older than the other two.
To reach by public transport, you need to type in "Heinerscheid, Geméin" bus stop at Mobiliteit.
Also I would recommend booking directly via hotel's website, since for some reason breakfast is always included in the price in booking websites.

Waitress not suited for hospitality

The food was good.The restaurant is very pretty and the house beer on tap.Did not disappoint.
Horrible waitress. Blonde hair, round glasses.
- when we were pushed to a point of being continuously disrespected. We asked for the manager-which she claimed to be,then we asked for the owner, this is when another employee stepped in to help.
-tried to refuse us seating in the restaurant, claiming it was fully reserved
-refilled our beer in our used glasses
- demanded that we speak German 3x
-when trying to get her attention, did not respond to us until we spoke french
-tried to sit us in the most undesired table at the door, filled with newspapers
We have never been treated with so much disrespect.

scandalous the service
let us know that my room was rented out. They then transferred us to another hotel in an attic room with 4 beds.
I really don't think that's possible last minute.
If you rent out the rooms like this, I don't have to book online anymore.
You feel comfortable leaving on a weekend and then your room is rented out, no time to look for anything else. Just outrageous.

... it is not worth it!
Unfortunately, I was not greeted in a friendly manner and had the feeling that I had interrupted a chat with the service staff.
Although you have booked a room and want to eat in the restaurant, you have to pay for the room immediately upon arrival. It's all very inconvenient....
The food in the restaurant is very good and when it came to paying, I had to pay more than what was on the menu. The service staff defiantly changed the bill. No tip had been charged, but the dishes were suddenly priced higher.
Breakfast was supposed to be from 8 - 10 a.m. The entire buffet was somehow not ready until 8.30 a.m. So I found the buffet very spartan and not worth the 12 euros. Somehow strange.
On the whole, the whole process was very unfriendly and I ultimately didn't feel welcome or comfortable.
Hospitality is somehow different! ... above all, private conversations should simply be reduced when guests are in the room.
It's a shame, really...
