Great hotel.

It is a large hotel with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is super well taken care of. The rooms are quite large and have lovely beds. Every day you can have the rooms cleaned and you get fresh towels. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance in the shopping center and moreover you can take the bus (which stops around the corner) via a short drive to the old town.

Don't come here

You shitty place. In the middle of a rail yard. Rotherrie of trains day and night. Midsummer with windows closed because of the noise. Air conditioning is not working.

Practical hotel at the ferry terminal

The Hotel Aurora in Klaipėda (formerly Ibis styles) is clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast and dinner are fine. It is located about 10 minutes by car or public transport from the centre – directly at the main terminal of the DFDS ferries. For ferry passengers the location is ideal. Free parking is available in front of the hotel.
Less pleasant is the noise from the adjacent cargo port: The shunting locomotive is also active at night, which can disturb noise-sensitive guests when the window is open.

I really loved the view! I have never been to the port before so watching ships arrive and dock was really fascinating. Overall great location. Clean and specious room.
The only cons were you could hear your neighbors. There is no water, coffee or teapot in the room I wish there was something basic you could just have in the room.
