Great hotel.

It is a large hotel with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is super well taken care of. The rooms are quite large and have lovely beds. Every day you can have the rooms cleaned and you get fresh towels. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance in the shopping center and moreover you can take the bus (which stops around the corner) via a short drive to the old town.

Don't come here

You shitty place. In the middle of a rail yard. Rotherrie of trains day and night. Midsummer with windows closed because of the noise. Air conditioning is not working.

Great City Visit with Excellent Buffet

Our tour group of 11 from 5 countries and 3 continents enjoyed the Aurora for 2 nights. The hotel provided quick and easy check in and check out
Excellent breakfast buffet. SAMANTHA and several others kept the Buffett full and answered all our questions. The buffet includes 3 coffee machines, teas but no English black. Bacon is medium cooked. They offer fresh fruit, cheeses including a delightful local smoked cheese, meats, egg bake, pancakes, 2 jans, fresh breads, and fresh veggies. I enjoyed breakfast dessert of sweet cheese
Lobby is open and spacious with a full lobby bar, Amber Queen gift selection, and restaurant. The conference center is an accessible venue. We are able to watch the Baltic Internatinal Darts competition in the conference area
Our room is a spacious twin room with view of the port. Small desk and chairs with wardrobe and mirror.
Bathroom has closed shower and shampoo and hand soap amenities.
Great city stay near bus and port

I really loved the view! I have never been to the port before so watching ships arrive and dock was really fascinating. Overall great location. Clean and specious room.
The only cons were you could hear your neighbors. There is no water, coffee or teapot in the room I wish there was something basic you could just have in the room.

Unfortunately the staff wasn’t very friendly with us. We had the feeling that guests from abroad were merely a nuisance than welcome.
