Хороший вариант для недорогого отеля

Расположение от центра в 15 минутах езды на троллейбусе, отель рядом с остановкой и супермаркетом. Ночью и в выходные не было шумно. В комнатах убирают каждый день, поддерживают порядок. Стоит отметить администрацию, которая всегда поможет и пойдёт на встречу и доброжелательно относится к постояльцам. И конечно цена приятная.

Als toerist heb je hier niets te zoeken

Wij hebben 1 nacht verbleven bij Strops. Het motel ligt in een buitenwijk van Riga, waarvan de taxichauffeur ons verzekerde dat we niet savonds de straat op moesten gaan, prettig is anders... de man die ons bij de receptie opving was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en deed zijn best om ons ondanks zijn gebrekkige beheersing van de Engelse taal een goed verblijf te geven. De kamers zijn van gebrekkige kwaliteit, veel stof, spinnenwebben, tv die uitvalt, bloedcellen in het matras, vermoedelijk bedwantsen, een douchekop die niet vast zit en de slechtste bedden waar ik ooit op sliep. De bezoekers zijn voornamelijk Russisch en Lets. Op de gangen en de kamers hangen schilderijen van dames die zichzelf op oneerbiedige wijze aanbieden, dat vonden wij dan wel weer leuk. Als je op een budget reist kun je hier prima een nachtje slapen, maar wees wel voorzichtig in deze buurt en verwacht geen luxe.
