Very enjoyable

This is a delightful hotel in Balthezer. Chosen because of its or proximity to the rugby ground where we were playing in a Petanque competition. It was lucky for us this hotel was chosen because it is original and different from other hotels where you could be anywhere in the world. The staff are brilliant. Receptionists so helpful, breakfast staff welcoming and dining room girls so friendly and efficient - and all spoke such good English! The breakfast were great and had something for everyone. Whilst the restaurant food was fantastic, the menu was a bit limited in choice for us as we were there for a week but we found another eatery 30 mins walk away. The bedrooms were large as were the shower rooms and the beds were comfy. Iron, hairdryer and kettle in room!

Excellent stop on the lake

Beautiful location, clean and welcoming room, kind staff and excellent breakfast. The room needs a bit of renovation, but good value for money

Not equipped to the four star standard one would expect."

While this hotel is marketed as a four-star property, the reality of the stay is closer to a two-star experience. The facilities are antiquated and do not meet modern standards. The room features outdated electrical outlets, making it impossible to charge today’s devices, and there are no USB ports available. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi setup via the television is unnecessarily complicated and failed to connect entirely.
My attempt to contact the hotel prior to check-in was equally frustrating; I was repeatedly told all operators were busy, despite there being only one person working the reception desk.
The room quality also falls short of four-star expectations. The bathroom is outdated, the shower lacked cleanliness, and amenities were minimal—lacking even hair conditioner. The hair dryer was so underpowered it was effectively useless.
To their credit, the air conditioning was effective and quiet, and the breakfast was very good. The landscaping and gardens are beautiful, offering a nice view of Lake Baltezers. However, be aware that the 'public beach' is accessible to anyone, as it allows outsiders to walk directly through the hotel property.

Good property and nice room one problem the fitness room doesn’t open until 8am, ridiculous for most people that want a quick workout while travelling.my hotel today has 24 hour fitness room , I found that a downgrade on what otherwise was a good hotel

Hotel has a great location and it’s very well maintained. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. I really enjoyed my visit there.
