Dreamy place
Eco camp Kirepwe is a dreamy place to relax at the beginning or end of a trip. It is an oasis of peace, there are 14 huts/cottages each in a different style, they are beautiful, I recommend it especially to couples looking for intense emotions. You are truly out of the world, there is a splendid pool in the shape of Africa. To get there you can combine it with the mangrove and flamingo tour...all in one. The welcome is special, all the staff is kind and helpful. Furthermore, as the name says it is Eco, with 0 photovoltaic and solar panels for electricity and hot water, you are in the middle of nowhere but with all the comforts at zero impact.... highly recommended even for a day excursion but staying there is unique.

Wonderful place suitable for those who want to spend a few days relaxing. The food is excellent and the kindness, sweetness, and discretion of the staff is priceless, as is the case with all the businesses managed by our friend... Samba

An oasis of pure relaxation
A simply unforgettable experience!
From the very first moment, the welcome was extraordinary: they took care of us with genuine attention and kindness that made us feel pampered right away. Inaugurated in December 2024, the hotel is less than two years old and it shows: the property is brand new, kept impeccably, and you can see enormous care in the daily maintenance.
The real strong points are the extreme friendliness of the staff and the uniqueness of the rooms, all made of wood with a unique, welcoming, and truly evocative style.
The hotel is a hidden gem on a small, enchanting island, reachable in just 7 minutes by small boat with a crossing that makes the arrival even more magical. Compared to the chaos and bustle you experience in Watamu, this place is a true happy island. Time seems to stop here and it is the realm of absolute relaxation; for those who wish to explore, the hotel also organizes splendid excursions in the surroundings.
The cuisine deserves a separate mention, which is why I recommend full board with my eyes closed: you eat really well! As Italians, we are often demanding at the table, but the quality here is incredible, with well-prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and flavors that really remind you of home.
A practical tip: I suggest you book directly with the property without going through third-party sites, by writing to them via WhatsApp. The chat support service is really excellent and fast, even if they always respond in English.
A fantastic experience from every point of view. If you are looking for a special place to recharge and be pampered from start to finish, this is the perfect place. We can't wait to return!

Pesce, Relax and Wellness
We spent four wonderful days at Kirepwe Eco Camp after a week-long safari across Kenya, and it was the perfect way to slow down and relax.
The camp is a true oasis of peace, surrounded by nature and accessible by a private boat ride across the lagoon. Everything is beautifully kept, welcoming and feels fresh and well cared for.
The food deserves a special mention: absolutely outstanding and saying this as an Italian who is quite demanding when it comes to food! Every meal was delicious.
A huge thank you to Rascida and the entire team, who were incredibly kind, welcoming and always available to help with anything we needed. They also organize safaris, excursions and transfers, making everything incredibly easy.
Kirepwe is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Watamu, and we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family!

A daydream
I spent 8 days in this property surrounded by the greenery of the mangroves..a terrestrial paradise! The staff was impeccable and uniquely kind! Clean rooms, a beautiful pool, and priceless cuisine!
