We visited during offseason but were pleased with the hotel. It is very close to the entrance and museum. The staff was very helpful.

An unforgettable stay

The stay at the Edom Hotel has been unforgettable. The hotel is located within walking distance of the entrance to Petra Archaeological Complex, and features spacious rooms, swimming pool (thank you very much for the heat of the area) and exceptional Restaurant Service.
Special thanks to Emad Nawafleh, the restaurant manager, for the very high standard Service offered.

Lovely hotel a stones throw from the visitors centre

Great hotel who were very accommodating during our stay despite the war meaning we were the only guests on one of the nights! (Lots of other hotels had shut altogether due to lack of visitors at this time).
Lovely room and a delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble despite the situation. While some on the facilities were closed during our stay for obvious reasons they all looked lovely and we look forward to returning to enjoy the cave bar and the gorgeous views from the terrace. The glass lift is also a great surprise!
2 minutes walk to the entrance to Petra and some nice restaurants next door if you don’t want to eat in the hotel.
Thank you all for looking after us so well and we hope you are full of visitors again very soon!

Very clean, comfort bed, friendly staff (Shahad amazing & helpful), great location....preta entrance is 5mins walk. Delicious breakfast

Great hotel with perfect location steps away from the Petra visitors center. Clean, good bed, fridge, balcony, Complimentary beverages. My room was on the 7th floor, and the elevator worked great. Loved the staff, especially the young woman at the front desk, she was helpful and delightful. They also held my bags, and I felt very safe as a solo woman traveler.
Reasons for 3 stars- The first reason is the shower. Shower is small, a step in, very slick tub. The biggest issue with the whole stay was that the water temperature control for output is broken. When taking a shower the water would be scalding hot, and 4 seconds later be ice cold. I had to count and move to not be burned, every 4 seconds. I tried to take a bath but the stopper would not work.
Second reason is Breakfast, it was bare minimum, and 2 of the 4 days I went they ran out of food, and didn't replenish anything. I was one of around 15 people who were only able to eat a piece of toast and have coffee.
