Great hotel at a great price

Clean and friendly hotel. In front of the Roman amphitheater and convenient Citadel.
Great for visiting Downton and the Suq. Saja at the reception showed us the best restaurants in the area and Chef Mama pampered us every morning with delicious breakfasts: pita , falafel and hummus , but also eggs and cheese. Good choice of dessert.

Amazing hotel Shukran Saja & Amy

Lovely little hotel right in the heart of Downtown Amman across the street from the Amphitheater. Saja & Amy at the front desk were amazing.. Shukran Jordan!

Amazing Hotel!

The rooms were immaculately clean, smelled really nice and were comfortable and big.
Showers clean, hot and with good pressure.
The wifi was fast and stable, and the location is unbeatable, we had a very nice view to the roman theater.
The service was also extremely good. We could have our laundry done, they printed some documents for us, showed us where to park best and where always there for us if needed.
Last but not least, the breakfast buffet was plenty, rich and tasty.
The perfect hotel for all our needs!

View of the Romanesque Amphitheatre. Free parking - you have to ask.
Breakfast with exceptional tabouleh and other Jordanian dishes.

Great location, very helpful staff. Value for money!

I stayed in this hotel as a solo traveller for 12 days through Christmas 2025 and New Year's eve 2026. Pros: 1) Superb location, on the main street of downtown Amman, with street level access to the reception/lobby area unlike some other hotels on the same street, which can be accessed only by climbing a steep flight of stairs. The fresh produce markets, restaurants, currency exchangers, etc, are all within a 10 or 15 minute walk from the hotel which is also exactly opposite the old Roman Amphitheatre. 2) Though this hotel is on a busy street that sees traffic snarls at peak hours, the soundproof glass windows keep out most of the noise. 3) Great staff: When I arrived at the location, I went to the reception of the adjacent Hotel Antonio - owned by the same management - where Dean at the reception very kindly gave me small bank notes so that I could pay the taxi fare from the airport. Dean then took me to the adjacent Layaali Amman Hotel. Saja, the receptionist at Layaali Amman suggested and organised day trips for me to various parts of Jordan. Saja also gave me useful tips on the various locations/restaurants in downtown Amman within walking distance from Layaali Amman. During a couple of nights when the room AC was very noisy, Dean came up to my room and did a temporary fix of the problem before the technician could fix it permanently the next morning. 4) The rooms are spacious, very clean with a mini fridge and an attached washroom. An elevator is available from the lobby to the various floors 5) Layaali Amman's complimentary breakfast is sumptuous, healthy and every morning Chef Mama lays out a very good spread. Cons: 1) The rooms don't have electric kettles and tea/coffee sachets. But complimentary tea/coffee sachets and hot water are available in the lobby. Overall, I had a great stay at Layaali Amman!
