Really enjoyed a multi-night stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely and the rooms were a very reasonable size for the price and value. Very clean and close enough to the Sapporo sights and nightlife while still offering some evening privacy.

Sauna, breakfast, miso ramen with night-calling is the best

A hotel renovated from the Toyoko Inn. When it opened in 2025/4, it is basically completely renovated so it is almost new. It is reasonably stylish in earth color and I think it is a design that everyone will like.
The guest room is nice when you're on a business trip to have a desk. There is a large public bath so I rarely use the guest room bath, but it is a beautiful unit bath nowadays.
The best public baths are a large sauna (with haute roulette), a water bath, and a fresh air bath. The Totoi chair is probably custom-made and has a unique shape. Depending on your body type, you may not be able to fit in well and feel comfortable sitting. There is also a free miso ramen available after the sauna, so it is nice to know that Sa rice is also available.
The breakfast buffet has a special feeling, even on the orthodox menu, using local ingredients. I think it's quite high for hotels in this price range.
The location is conveniently located nearby, so I don't find it inconvenient. It's walking distance to downtown (unless it snows heavily)

Aloha! Our stay here at Dansetsu was by far the BEST Japan accommodations ever! We were in shock at the spacious room layout, the clean atmosphere, comfy beds, amazing shower and hot water, everything was spectacular! I wanted to just stay in the room vs exploring Sapporo! It was that amazing! Staff and nice, clean towels daily, the hot springs was like a free spa every day, ramen at night for free was delicious! Some few minor details that need improving would be the size of the elevators and providing a cutting board and knowing the family suites. We ended up buying one which wasn’t a problem at all! I want to come back just to say here! Mahalo from your guests from Hawaii!

Very kind staff, very spacious and comfy room. There's a lounge to grab drinks and snacks at, they were all very good. Ramen from 2100-2300 , was very very good. We had a room with a sauna and it was lovely to relax after a long cold day.
