Good accommodation option in Osaka
Apartment located close to the heart of tourist things in Osaka, but far enough away to be a quiet and ideal place to rest. Apartment in impeccable condition and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. Not a but.

Lovely apartments, great location
FDS En Osaka was home for three days in November 2018 for my family. Nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. it's a five-minute walk from Tengachaya subway station, and minutes from supermarkets and eateries. Meal options thoroughout the day are available, especially near Tengachaya station.
My apartment came with a stove, fridge, bathroom (with mini-bath tub), washing machine, and a small living room area. The bathroom doubled up as dryer - which was absolutely a lifesaver when travelling with young children. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. It's amazing value.
The downside is that like many such apartments, there are no lifts - be prepared to hoist your luggage up as many as three floors.
Also, when checking in, be sure that you are familiar with the steps beforehand. It's not rocket science, but when you're in freezing weather, you don't want to spend more time than you need fiddling with combination locks.
Definitely planning to come back when I make another trip to Osaka.

Cosy Self-Catering Studio Apartment in Quiet N’hood: Well-Appointed for Comfortable Stay.
LOCATION: FDS EN OSAKA is located at 2 chome-2-17 Hanazonominami, Nishinari-ku 西成区, a tranquil residential area. Just around the corner from FDS is a 24-hour Family Mart and right outside the train station is a sizeable supermarket open till late.
If you intend to use public transport for getting around Osaka, there are 2 stations conveniently situated within walking distance from FDS: Tengachaya Station 天下茶屋駅 on the Nankai & Sakaisuji Lines and Hanazonocho Station 花園町駅 on the Yotsubashi Line.
DIRECTIONS: you can board a 40-min direct train from Kansai Airport to Osaka City; just take the Nankai-kuko Line 空港急行 in the direction of Nankai-Namba and alight at Tengachaya Station, a 4-min walk from FDS.
OVERVIEW: We stayed in a Standard Apartment on the 3rd floor, it was fairly cosy & clean with adequate space for 2 pax. There isn’t any lift nor porter so request for a lower floor if you do not wish to lug heavy baggage up & down the stairs.
The apartment was compact but well-appointed with all necessities for a comfortable stay: twin beds & bedside table; spacious wardrobe with hangers; wall-mounted flatscreen TV; 2-seater sofa & coffee table; slender wall mirror; and air-conditioner. It even had a small balcony but sadly, there wasn’t much of a view.
Beds were comfortable with clean linen; extra pillows & blanket can be found in the wardrobe. You can close the sliding doors that separate the sleeping & living areas if you require some privacy.
KITCHEN: well-equipped with induction stove; fridge; microwave oven; and electric kettle. Cabinets were well-stocked with full set of cooking implements, crockery & cutlery ~ everything was clean and orderly. The sink had clean sponge & dishwashing liquid. Complimentary tea bags & sugar sachets were also provided.
BATHROOM: clean & compact; furnished with mirror over wash basin, shower & bathtub. Shower had good water pressure & steady supply of hot water.
Comprehensive amenities included: liquid soap; body wash; shampoo & conditioner; hairdryer; toothbrushes; disposable shavers; etc. Adequate bath linen, extra toilet rolls & boxes of tissue paper were all provided. Our only gripe: the very thin toilet paper took some getting used to...
Bathroom had a washing machine with complimentary laundry detergent. Simply hang your laundry in the bathroom after washing and select the drying function - hot air will blow out of the air vents to dry your clothes in a few short hours!
Toilet was oddly situated beside the front door – a rather unusual layout which had us mistakenly opening the front door whenever we wanted to use the loo!
SERVICE: Reservation was made on Booking.com and the property sent us prompt confirmation via email.
About a week prior to arrival, we received another email with clear & detailed instructions on how to reach FDS En Osaka from Kansai Airport together with access codes to main gate & mailbox containing electronic keycard to our assigned apartment. We also received a PayPal Invoice to pre-pay for our stay.
No staff on site but the property has thoughtfully prepared a folder containing all pertinent information: where to get food & groceries; directions to popular attractions & places of interest via public transport; instructions on using various appliances; etc.
No housekeeping service during our stay but that didn’t pose much of a problem. The apartment had a small vacuum cleaner so you could do some light cleaning if necessary.
Self-Check-Out was hassle-free: simply deposit your keycard in the mailbox upon departure.
IN SHORT: accommodation and dining out in big cities like Osaka & Kyoto can be expensive so self-catering apartments are a cost-effective option. In view of our pleasant stay in a cosy, well-appointed apartment, the room rates seemed reasonable.
The only issue we had with FDS En Osaka was its location - not exactly ideal for sightseeing as most places of interests are either in or nearer to Chuo-ku 中央区. However, it does offer excellent value for guests.
For our maiden trip to Japan, we stayed in 3 properties within the Kansai region and FDS EN OSAKA turned out to be the best in terms of comfort and facilities offered.

Отличный аппарт-отель с интересной системой чек-ин и чек-аут (по электронной почте). Расположен в тихом месте, среди быта и домов самих Японцев. Район очень безопасный, как и сама Япония. До метро station Tengachaya около 7 мин. Рядом есть Qanat Mall. Я немного не понял как пользоваться ящиком когда надо забрать и оставить ключ. Сами апартаменты оснащены всем необходимым (одноразовые бритвы, расчески, утюг, плита, холодильник, чайник, пылесос, стиральная машинка). Все необходимое для проживания имеется, средства личной гигиены, средства бытовой химии, даже специи и масло для приготовления пищи. Номер оснащен электронным управлением, даже очень интересно. В номере не убираются пока я жил. Владелец отеля при бронировании на email присылает инструкцию как добраться до дома, как дойти от метро с полной инструкцией и картинками, как взять ключ, как им пользоваться, куда и как добраться (по основным достопримечательностям). Все основные вкусняшки Японии можно отведать тут в районе, а не в центре, дешевле и вкуснее.
