Oh my lord. It was the best experience I have had so far. Just go and experience it. They have everything. Make sure you skip lunch for their breakfast and dinner, cos they are insanely good.
Definielty recommended!

I am not satisfied with the customer service provided by the staff.

The customer service lady proudly told us that she had retired from Nara Hotel and was scouted by the proprietress of Asanoya to work part-time for three days, and when we asked for an extra yukata to wear after the bath the next morning, she said that the rule was that only one yukata could be mailed. When we asked for water at dinner, she poured it into the empty beer glass, which she said was beer with water. She said that she had reserved a room on the 8th floor for her part-time job. I always use Izutsuya, but this was my first time and I was disappointed.
The other staff members were very friendly and the food was delicious, but the attitude of this customer service lady caused my rating of Asanoya to go down.

Like a home.

Nice and lovely staff, felt like staying in a home of generous host. They indulged us with friendliness. Thank you for your kindness. Good attention in every details. Great welcome drink and cutie dessert. Grand dinner was served with kindness. Breakfast was prepared for individuals. We enjoyed finding 6 "Heart" signs to win a prize...Onsen towel as a souvenir from Yumura!
