Reasonably priced and quiet hotel

This is a lodging facility for seafarers' welfare run by the Japan Seafarers' Welfare Association. Of course, it is also available to the general public. It is located right next to Okurayama subway station and was renovated in 2020 with an exterior that resembles the port city of Kobe. There are Japanese-style rooms without a bathroom and Western-style rooms in the style of a business hotel. It feels like a national guesthouse from the Showa era. I stayed in a Western-style room. There is only a bathroom, a bed, and a desk, but it was strangely relaxing. There is a large public bath that is available from 5:00 to 12:00, but it was late at night and I couldn't use it. It would have been nice if there was a morning bath, but it can't be helped. There is a shower booth that can be used 24 hours a day. If you head south along Minatogawa Shrine, it is conveniently located near Kobe Station. I chose this hotel because it is more reasonable than the expensive hotels around Sannomiya. However, there are no convenience stores nearby, so I recommend buying what you need around Sannomiya or Kobe Station before checking in.

Reasonable, conveniently situated, onsen and spacious room

Friendly staff, clean and well kept rooms. Breakfast available if requested. Laundry and onsen services very easy to use.
Only downside being a non Smoker is that at times the hotel was quite smoky, due to catering to smokers.

服务很棒。虽然下午才可以办理入住，但是中午早到了，还是提前让我入住。房间很干净。晚上周围环境也很安静。

一人旅で利用。建物の内装・外観は古いが清潔感のあるホテルであった。和室で快適に過ごすことが出来た。ただ風呂は共用で一階にあり、トイレ・洗面所も共用で各フロアに設置されている。その点が若干不便さを感じた。宿泊の際には注意が必要かも。
