The nature escape you're looking for in a perfect place!

My husband & I visited, from England, this beautiful hotel in October for a 6 nt stay . From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were wonderfully kind & attentive in doing everything they could to make our stay very comfortable, pleasant & memorable. The reception staff were truly exceptional, not only answering a question, but fulfilling a wish that I had not even requested.
We were given a top floor traditional Japanese bedroom overlooking the river. The room was very spacious, warm & had breathtaking views over the river & the distant landscape. Both indoor & outdoor onsens were very satisfying & atmospheric. It was magical sitting in the riverside onsen bath in the rain of an evening. All community areas of the hotel are attractive, calm with guests being well provided for rest, refreshments along with beautiful views of nature. The breakfasts were sumptuous with many different dishes of flavours.
I would not hesitate to stay at Hantsubaki on a future trip to the area & highly recommend to future travellers.

The staff were fantastic!! They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Traditional Japanese breakfast was very good and the outdoor onsen was a nice experience
