This is a plain basic accommodation for the area. So far, this is the only and first hotel which I don't see a Washlet in the bathroom. The room and toilet are both tiny. Need a second thought to get their tatami room as you need to sit on the floor all night. That really hurt the back.

The hotel is around 10 min walk from Kii-Katsuura Station. Everything is basic and the room is expectedly small but functional. The good things are its close proximity to Katsuura Port (tuna fish auction), JF Katsuura Seafood Market and many notable restaurants.

The place is near the shore, the town is not big so the hotel location is good. But the room size of Japanese style is quite small, not much place for two people’s luggage.

You can use the private hot spring, Sagonoyu.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Kii-Katsuura Station. It's right in front of the Kino Matsushima sightseeing boat pier. They only offer lodging, but they provide free bread and coffee in the morning. This hotel has its own private hot spring, Sagonoyu, which guests can use for 45 minutes at a time. This hot spring is in the Yukawa area and is quite far away, but it's a very nice hot spring.
