Highlight of my Japan Trip!

Loved my stay here, the highlight of my trip to Japan. The onsen and garden were actually life changing. Meals were beautiful but too fishy for me & most of my group. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had extremely comfortable beds. Staff were kind and helpful. Great value, peaceful and quiet resort, quick walk from train station and close to cute shops and restaurants. I wish I stayed way longer.

It was disappointing.

It was really bad, and there was only discomfort, but at the end, a woman who looked like she was older apologized, and she said she was going to change the way she served customers in the future. I would like you to work hard on the garden because there is a cooking bath that I have posted on the garden. Even though I was feeling bad about the poor weather in Hakone trip, which I was looking forward to when I took a break from the shop to leave my dog, I was still in discomfort at the inn⤵️. Everyone works hard every day. The reward is to travel. Please tell the staff about it.

A very good choice of stay at the Hakone onsen beginner town - Yumoto

Love the way we were being treated fairly and the check in staff went all the way out to understand us and help us feel comfortable through the stay. Every eye contact was made with a hello. No one was gossiping about us in Japanese during our stay, which we love while staying in ryokan and onsen places. Prices were labeled fairly everywhere. Front staff was mastering good English to communicate with everyone. Neigbourhood was safe to walk around even in the night. Convenience store was nearby. We fell in love with the garden and spent a lot of time there. We love the big lounge room with free choice of drinks that we can help ourselves after every onsen session.

Wonderful private garden

Wonderful experience/stay. We went to Hakone specifically to stay at a ryokan. The hotel was beautiful - we saw many gardens during our journey but this was one of the best as it was incorporated around the property and was very large- 1-2 acres. The bath areas were well designed and not crowded. I really enjoyed the outdoor bath as it over looked the garden and had flowers in bloom in December. The meals served -Kaiseki ryori - were once in a lifetime experience. The best sashimi we had in two weeks of meals in Japan. But those were just bites in the elaborate, multi-course meal. Part of the charm is the beautiful plates, bowls, boxes that the food was served. It was sublime sitting in our room overlooking the garden in evening and morning with tea or drinks. Expensive but 4 of us shared one room. While it was on tatami mats, the futons were very comfortable even for a large American side sleeper.

Visit the Rihanna to find the lost iPhone at the station
