Sanwa sen

Kusunokimachi, a neighborhood in Beppu, is home to Sanwa sen. The check in process was complicated compaired to all the other accomodations we have stayed.there ead no welcome pack, dirty and worn out kitchen sponge, the photis on the internet are misleading, they advertise that there is a wash room upstairs but it was 2 tiny basins with cold water only. The onsen indoors was dirty so we had to scrub it clean to then use it, there was 1 mirror so the six of us were fighting for it in the morning. No umbrellas and it rained the time we were there. They advertised toiletries supplied but was toothbrushes, shampoo and body wash , no conditioner so hair was frizzy. Overall disappointing.
