Review of Pat’s Airbnb – Seas Palm Villa, Tower Isle

My wife and I made a quick last-minute trip from Canada to Jamaica for a quiet weekend. We usually stay at an all-inclusive in Montego Bay, but with Hurricane Melissa recently passing through, we decided to try an Airbnb for the first time. We’re glad we did.
The drive from Sangster International Airport to Tower Isle was eye-opening. We saw roof damage along the way, which was a reminder of how strong the hurricane was, but the roads were cleared and the drive was comfortable. When we arrived at Seas Palm Villa by the beach, everything changed for the better.
From the moment we booked, Pat was in constant contact, making sure we had everything we needed. She checked in throughout our stay and even up to our checkout on Monday. That level of care alone made us feel welcome.
We were greeted on arrival by Marie, who met us with a warm smile and that genuine Jamaican hospitality. The unit was spotless, spacious, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. The view of the Caribbean Sea was stunning, and the man-made cove right below the unit was perfect for a morning swim.
After chatting with Marie, we learned she could prepare meals for us, which gave us the same all-inclusive feeling we were used to. On Sunday she made a full Jamaican breakfast – ackee and salt fish, callaloo, green banana, white yam, and dumplings. We ate on the balcony after a swim, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. Dinner was just as good: curry goat with rice, steamed fish for my wife, and fried fish for us to take home on our flight back to Canada.
We were honestly blown away by the experience. The unit felt homely and relaxing, and the service from both Pat and Marie was truly first class. Our first Airbnb stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We now have a real appreciation for Airbnb, and we won’t hesitate to return to this villa run by Pat, a genuine super host, and Marie, an outstanding cook and housekeeper.

Owner didn’t communicate to the housekeeper that a guest was coming so I had to wait for the housekeeper to come back from her house with the keys the room wasn’t clean so while I’m there the housekeeper was cleaning mopping I had leave so she could clean properly it’s like the owner controls the Ac I wake up in the night sweating and I can’t take the ac off auto for some reason if I take it off auto it still turns off

Apt A6-Sea Palms: Excellent space - Exceptional value - Extraordinary people

Quiet, serene, peaceful - allowed for quite relaxation after being out all day- the cove is inviting and friendly to wade in- I was out in the water at midnight- Crazy but true! I love this space - clean and tidy with adequate toiletries, towels, and linen- It was a working vacation, but we had a great stay because of this place.
The staff was wonderful! Apt A6- We will be back and we will spread the word.

Family Getaway- excellent accommodation

I took my family to Seapalms for a little getaway for the weekend and the experience was just exhilarating, relaxing and all the rooms were spacious and the entire condo was luxurious. We stayed in Apt F1 which was well kept. Will be going back again very soon and I highly recommend this particular apartment. Thanks to Ms. Anna-Claire Rerrie for an excellent weekend. The fam loved your place as much as I did.

Dishonest advertising

The apartment was marketed as a 3 bedroom. Clearly this was not so as one room seemed to have been chopped off the kitchen. the shower in that bathroom was 3 ft x 3 ft. In one of the other bedrooms, the shower was 21/2 ft X 2 1/2 ft. The 2 other 3 bedrooms visited on the compound were luxurious.
