Excellent small hotel near Arezzo

I was having a hiking vacation and Subbiano was the starting point for my hike. The hotel is a pleasant, quite small one and it has been operating for over 50 years. The owner was really friendly and helpful as all the staff. The price-quality ratio was excellent as I booked a room with shared bathroom. The food in the restaurant was outstading too. A great choice in Subbiano!

What a pity.

Last review before my return in 2021 and in 5 years nothing has changed, just 5 years older... it is not possible in 2026 to have a 2-star hotel with the characteristics of pensions from the 60s... and to those who talk to me about price, I respond that we are used to being out from 8 AM to 11 PM and only sleeping in the room, and I can name dozens of places all over Italy that offer much more for the same price. The only positive note is the cleanliness of the room, while we will not speak kindly of the bathrooms that are literally falling apart. The breakfast was decent.

Small friendly family hotel place for this park around.....comfortable room bathroom in the hallway ....the little flat it is very poorly soundproofed in the rooms .
To spend 1 to 2 nights it is .....

Chambre spacieuse lit confortable c'est propre ...douche/wc c'est dans le couloir
Personnel super gentils
Parking en face et sur le côté de l'hôtel .
Petit déjeuner simple ( ça manque du pain frais) biscottes beurre confiture gâteau au coco petit croissants aux abricots ....
Si non dans l'ensemble petit hôtel chaleureux
