Nice vacation

Excellent location, too bad the room on the street/Mount Elmo side was very noisy, forcing us to keep the windows closed. Excellent cuisine and friendly staff

grazie per la sua recensione e per aver apprezzato la nostra cucina, la posizione e la cordialità del personale.
Ci dispiace per il rumore percepito nella camera lato Monte Elmo. Proprio per migliorare ulteriormente il comfort, abbiamo già in programma lavori di rinnovamento che prevedono anche la sostituzione delle finestre con nuovi serramenti maggiormente isolanti.
Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente al Waldheim!

First year at Hotel Waldheim

I booked for the first week of August and the stay was truly perfect.
The room was excellent, on the second floor, with a view of the Sesto sundial.
Nothing to complain about regarding the sweet/savory breakfast, always available with homemade jams and cakes. Menu, in the evening for dinner, with a choice of several meals including vegetarian/vegan options.
Perfect hotel location, just outside Sesto with the cable car to Mount Elmo in front. Easy and reserved parking outside.

4th year at Hotel Waldheim.

Again this year, my wife, our dog, and I spent a week's vacation at this hotel.
What can I say? ...It is the fourth year that we have treated ourselves to a vacation at the Waldheim, and this year, too, we had a wonderful time.
First of all, the staff is very kind and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms, breakfasts always abundant with savory and sweet options, dinners always with a buffet available, a first course, a second course, and a dessert (as per the menu where you have 2/3 choices). After finishing dinner, you sit outside the hotel in the cool air where you can enjoy an herbal tea, a coffee, or something else.
For us coming from Milan, where the heat exhausted us this year, this is a place that rejuvenates you.
Thanks for everything, and we will definitely see each other again next year.
I highly recommend it.

Excellent experience. To be repeated and recommended.

We stayed at the Hotel from July 21 to July 26. The judgment is extremely positive. Spacious and very clean rooms, exceptional view of the Sesto Sundial, and an excellent location for excursions in Val Fiscalina and in front of the Monte Elmo cable car. The staff is very kind and very helpful. Excellent breakfast, sweet and savory, and excellent dinner with self-service appetizers. If I really have to nitpick, at dinner I would expect more typical local dishes.

Everything is great

Good price-performance ratio; very clean; best food (half board); good location. Breakfast (starts at 7:30) could begin half an hour earlier.
