Absolutely perfect

Amazing experience!
The rooms were clean, modern and cosy. They get cleaned very good every day which we are thankful for. The beds were really comfortable to sleep on and the view was stunning!
The food was exquisite. Everything was delicious (even for me who is a picky eater). There's a wide variety of food to chose from each night even for kids.
Even the staff were really nice. Each staff member from the cleaning crew to the servers or bartenders were really sweet and always said good morning or good night.
We couldn't have asked for a beter stay. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic location. Recently renovated hotel in perfect alpine yet modern style. Immaculately clean, spacious, and simply wonderful rooms!

In Paradise

Nestled in the meadows and at the edge of the forest, with a view of the Dolomites, the Andermax is a facility that enjoys a simply privileged location: a true contemporary refuge 'a step from the sky', where nature and comfort coexist in perfect harmony.
Established in its current form since 2021, the hotel interprets the alpine style in a modern way: lots of wood, clean lines, and an elegant and refined design. The environments are meticulously designed in every detail, and the rooms, often featuring large windows with views of the mountains, provide an immersive experience that enhances the connection with the surrounding landscape.
The culinary offerings are of a high standard: precise, flavorful cuisine, with a special mention for the pastries, while breakfast is a true journey of quality and variety. The afternoon break is equally delightful and varied.

Too bad...

We went to the 2. Mal im Andermax ...Actually a great hotel with modern, cozy rooms and a great breakfast buffet and evening menu. But: this year we booked a room on the top floor because you don't spend much time in the room in such a great place anyway. Unfortunately, from the 1. minute of problems with the windows. In the beginning there were problems with the remote control, we waited two hours for the caretaker who neither understood English nor German and could fix the problem even if necessary. At the slightest sign of humidity (and everyone who visited South Tyrol in July already knows that the probability of thunderstorms is very high), the windows close automatically and open only when absolutely dry...The result: Room temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees. Ventilation or climate misreading. Unfortunately, the reception was not really helpful...German unfortunately not at all and English more bad than law...We were offered to move to the suite on the second day but at the regular price. I think in a 4 star house you should be more flexible or simply not rent these rooms in the summer.
So we were actually happy to leave after the 4 nights.
Really a pity!
