A place we will remember forever

We had a wonderful stay at Il Monastero in Geremeas and it is a place I will remember forever.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains in the distance, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool is amazing and was a real highlight of our stay.
Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice including fresh fruit, cakes, yoghurt, bread, scrambled eggs, and croissants. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented.
Our Superior Room was lovely, featuring a stone floor, beamed ceiling, and a very comfortable bed. It felt authentic, spacious, and full of character.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always checking that everything was okay and asking if we needed anything. Their attention and kindness really made us feel welcome. The Piña Colada mocktail was also absolutely delicious!
The local beach is lovely and well worth visiting. To explore other towns and beaches around the area, however, you will need a car.
The only downside for us was the restaurant. We found it very expensive, with relatively small portions. That said, food generally seemed quite expensive throughout Sardinia, so this may not be unique to the hotel.
Overall, this was a memorable stay in a beautiful setting, and I would happily return. Thank you to everyone at Il Monastero for such a special experience.

A magical resort indeed

I have recently returned from this fabulous resort after facilitating my 4th Wellbeing retreat there.
Located just a short walk from an idyllic beach, yet remote enough to be able to completely switch off from the outside world - it is the perfect setting.
The swimming pool is incredible, the food delicious, and the staff are out of this world with their care and friendliness.
We can't wait to return again next May.
A couple of years ago I decided to book again but this time with the family for our summer holiday. We hired a car and visited many local beaches, my 2 teenage boys said it was one of their favourite holidays.
I highly recommend this resort.

Nice reception staff & sparse breakfast

Very friendly and helpful staff.
For the beach you could borrow everything you could imagine: Umbrellas, isomats, beach tennis and of course towels.
We had a suite with a small courtyard with spa bath (three jets didn't work here) two loungers as well as small table with two chairs.
So far the room was fine, there was plenty of storage space available. What is somewhat unfortunate is the motion detector in the bathroom, which then automatically adjusted the light and ventilation system, which also ran long after.
Also the light of the TV and the safety light were very bright and had to pin or cover them.
Really bad, though, was the breakfast.
The choice was very limited and the scrambled eggs were a disaster.
It may also be due to the low season.
The pool and restaurant we can not make a statement as we did not use both.
The facility definitely has a great atmosphere and a nice concept - also suitable for children.

Exceptional service in tranquil environment

We were given exceptional service from the moment we contacted the property asking for a 3 bed room close to amenities like the pool and restaurant as one of us was recovering from a broken leg. The attention given to us throughout our stay by all the staff was excellent. We had staff (management? And Sydney) taking us to a beach some ten minutes away themselves as we did not have a rental car and could not find a taxi ride to and from the beach. Martina, the receptionist was very helpful when initially our flight was delayed and our transfer to hotel was going to be affected), the pool staff and management staff made sure my friend was comfortable to enter the pool due to her still recovering from a broken leg. The food and cocktails were the best! We also had the most amazing massage ever, it was truly a restful holiday in excellent surroundings, with a great pool and lush surroundings.

A beautiful relaxing experience

A simply perfect stay! The structure is surrounded by nature and the pool is truly spectacular: it seems to be in an oasis, between colors, scents and absolute silence. The restaurant is of the highest standard, with carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients and a view that makes every dinner special. But what really makes the difference is the welcome: all the staff is kind, attentive and always ready to make guests feel pampered. An experience to be repeated absolutely!
