Weekend bellissimo

...e dopo una piccola salita ti trovi davanti il B&B Le Antiche Orme...che dire, la perfezione!!!
Ci salutano Eva e Mafalda due splendide labrador e ad accoglierci c'è Daniela, la padrona di casa, sorridente e gioviale, con cortesia ed estrema gentilezza e familiarità e da subito senti l'empatia che lei e suo marito Giovanni o Antonio meglio Giannantonio, hanno con i loro ospiti.
La casa è una perla, le camere sono pulitissime e comode ... è la perfezione!!!
La colazione è ricca ed abbondante, i dolci li fa tutti Daniela, come gli agnellotti e le tagliatelle condite in tutte le salse, se vuoi cenare lì da lei.
...e poi provare per credere... quando saluti per tornare a casa, saluti due amici che ti hanno viziato, con la loro disponibilità, le loro specialità e quella semplicità che fa bene all'anima.❤️

Noisy with Nasty Owner

We came here because of all the good reviews and because this place is far away from everything and we needed some peace and quiet. But the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything -- every conversation in every room. You basically cannot sleep until everyone else goes to sleep, which is usually around midnight. Our first night, the owner was watching TV and talking on the telephone until 1 am -- even though her own rule was that quiet hours are after 10 pm. The second night she and her husband were talking loudly until late. At first the owner seemed nice and friendly, but when we said we weren't happy, the owner turned vicious and insulting saying that it is our fault that we can't sleep. She even forced my wife to pay for an extra night because we wanted to leave early because of our dissatisfaction. The owners use this place to entertain their friends for lunch and dinner which is very unprofessional. They should focus more on making guests happy than having parties. It is amazing that this place is so isolated yet it is so noisy.

"The house in the woods"

5 km. from the town center, you will find this quite new B&B hidden in a quite deserted area with a great view towards the surrounding mountains. Not easy to find if you book your room(s) on Booking.com, as they operate with an adress you will not find on any GPS. Use the adress you find here on Tripadvisor.
The rooms are large enough, modern bathrooms, pleasent beds and a good breakfast.
Your hosts are very kind and welcoming, she's just now learning English, and are very thankful if you help her.
We arrived in a terrible weather after having searched for a non-existing adress for a long time. Our hostess offered a delicious dinner, so that we didn't have to go down to the village again.
Take care the last kilometer, the road is rather narrow, bumpy and very curved (more than the first 4 km.

Ottimo..ci tornerò

Incanrwvole beb immerso nella natura..personale squisito e gebtilissimo.. cena fantastica con ottimi primi..stanze pulite e ben arredate...uno settacolo! È possibile dare delle escursioni nelle vicinanze o d inverno sciare nelle piste innevate..tornerò in estate

Un potenziale sprecato

Abbiamo soggiornato alle "antiche orme" per due notti.
Ia location è davvero notevole, sufficientemente vicina al centro ma immersa nella natura, le camere sono minimali ma pulite e con tutti i comfort.
Peccato per l'accoglienza e il trattamento della proprietaria:
La percezione che si ha all'arrivo è di non essere bene accetti, i modi sono sbrigativi e poco garbati, non ci si sente a proprio agio.
Nelle ore serali le sorprese non finiscono, la sala diventa sede di rumorose conversazioni fino a tardi, tanto rumorose che i muri sottili non riescono a attenuare minimamente.
La prima notte abbiamo lasciato perdere ma la seconda, fattasi mezzanotte, siamo dovuti scendere in sala per chiedere un po' di silenzio per poterci finalmente addormentare.
Nessuna presenza di Wi-Fi o segnale telefonico.
Pagamento solo in contanti (ricevuta non pervenuta)
Il prossimo weekend torno al Lago Santo..ma non soggiornerò qui.
