A magical hotel on Lake Orta.

A charming hotel in a beautiful setting on the lake I could not recommend it highly enough!. From the staff to the infinity pool to the lakeside resto and rooftop bar and the amazing bedroom with balcony with view of the lake it is a magical hotel!. It retains the charm of a family run hotel with all the luxuries associated with bigger more expensive ones. Incredible value for money in my opinion. It was a surprise birthday pressie for my partner and he couldn't have been happier. À la prossima.!..

Our happy place

Our fourth stay in Hotel Giardinetto and,as ever, it was a great pleasure. The warmth of welcome, the attention of the staff, the personal interest and care of the family during our five night stay made it all the more special.
During our second evening a violent thunderstorm struck that necessitated diners to be relocated quickly from the lakeside dining area to the indoor dining restaurant. All the staff came to assist guests: they were most professional. Afterwards we learnt that storm damage had affected the kitchen’s cooling system making working conditions very difficult for the kitchen team; however they still produced excellent cuisine. Bravo!!
The memories of the food, the location on the lakeside, and the staff make it a holiday we savour and will repeat, Grazie!!

Relaxing stay by the lake

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good position, reasonably close to town. Easy to rent boats, wakeboarding etc. good parking, food decent, pool and lake front relaxing. Rooms clean and tidy. Would return.

Exceptionally lovely hotel

Hotel Giardinetto has a fantastic lake side location, with direct access to the lake as well as having its own swimming pool.
It has a wonderfully charming and welcoming atmosphere and the staff were exceptionally helpful, going out of their way to assist in any way they could.
Sadly we couldn’t have a lake view room as they were all fully booked, but our room was well appointed and was really quiet with no road noise at all.
The hotel was very clean and very well maintained throughout, even in heavy traffic areas like the breakfast room and reception.
The breakfasts were excellent as was the food in the restaurant. The roof top bar has amazing views and a lovely ambiance.
Given the quality of the hotel and the quality of the service received I would say this hotel is good value for money and we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for peaceful holdiday!

The location is ideal for excursions to Lake Maggiore. We do not criticize the hotel at all: convenient location, rich breakfast, friendly staff, pool perfect,... . Restaurants nearby (cheaper), provided some searching via Chatgpt . Will we ever return : resounding YES !!
