The kindness and helpfulness of the owner and the staff earn it an extra star.

Spacious and clean rooms, excellent location for walking to the center..what pleasantly surprised me was the kindness and helpfulness of the owner Marco and the staff ...accommodating every request ....the genuine breakfast makes you feel at home

Convenient and comfortable.

Wonderful experience. Clean hotel, spacious room and complete with every comfort. Abundant breakfast. The owner-manager, Marco, personally takes care of the preparation of homemade cakes; breakfast becomes an added value because it is like being with family. Sweet and savory. There is also a nice patio to relax in and free parking in front of the hotel. All the staff are kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Great Experience!

What a wonderful stay we had at Hotel Minerva in Otranto. We originally came to Otranto for a wedding celebration and were simply looking for a comfortable place to rest our heads for the 4 days — but this hotel turned out to be so much more than that.
The location was absolutely perfect. Within a 7-minute walk you are beside the beautiful castle, and just a couple of minutes further you arrive at the stunning beach.
Our room was spacious and spotless, with a separate bedroom and a little sitting room that could easily accommodate a family of four. We also loved the large balcony with the afternoon sun pouring in. There was a fridge stocked with drinks and a very spacious bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The owner, Marco, is a true gentleman, and every member of staff greeted us with a smile and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay.
We are only on our way home and already talking about coming back again — this time with our kids ❤️

Cammino del Salento

We are a group for the Cammino del Salento, Sonia's group; we only stayed with breakfast. Room is clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety from sweet to savory, and fresh fruit; everything was great.

excellent value & great location

Great location - easy walk into the Old Town, or the Promenade. The rooms are fairly basic, but spotlessly clean, and Marco, the host was both welcoming & really helpful. Breakfast is included & really really good. It is terrific value for money.
