Overnight Trip in March

Beutiful space, spunky stuff, great food close by!
My family and I are very happy we spent time in Naples. It's a unique city with great food and people. I would happily stay at the Opera Home again.

Beautiful building but horrible customer service

The room was perfect. It has a very high ceiling with stunning wooden beams and beautiful armchair. The bed was comfortable and a view from balcony was really nice. Cleaning is every day and the room was clean and tidy all the time. The whole building has an amazing charm and atmosphere.
The place is a bit difficult to find, because it has no sign and you just need to ring the bell, if you want to get inside. There is no lift and the reception is situated on the second floor, so it could be quite uncomfortable for somebody. Be prepared they do not accept credit cards. Their staff is not very welcoming. I also had a really early check-out, so I asked to book a taxi at 4am to catch my flight. I don't know, who made a mistake, if the receptionist forgot to call it or the driver just did not show up. And yes, I came down at 3:50am and waited there for more than 20 minutes. It was extremely inconvenient. If you need to leave very early in the morning, you should rather have two or three taxi numbers prepared... as there is nobody at the reception.
In my humble opinion they could send some info before the arrival to inform their guests about opening hours of the reception, the fact they do not accept credit cards, etc. Instead of accusing their guests through review replies, that these inconveniences were their fault. I hate complaining after my trips, but your behaviour towards your guests is very impolite.

Wonderful staff, comfortable room

To me, people can make or break an experience, and the fabulous Fabio, manager at Opera Home, really made my stay special. My room was clean and daily maintained, the bathroom was big, the quirky site is part of a centuries old building and has that individual charm. On top of that, fresh hot croissants for breakfast, made by the talented Paola.

We loved Opera Home!

What a lovely place! A beautiful room, spotlessly cleaned each day, gorgeous ceiling and floors and huge wooden shutters, so much prettier and more interesting than staying in a generic hotel! Delicious continental breakfast. Our room had plenty of space for our two year old to play in when we weren't out exploring Naples, and they couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming to him

Italian home

We've had a fantastic experience staying at this beautiful hotel.
It is fair to say that this is actually like a huge apartment, which was turned into hotel rooms, with a common kitchen where you can cook, a lovely shared living room, free wifi, and a dining area.
We booked an en-suit room which was absolutely beautiful. I loved the heavy curtains, old style bed and wall paper, very very high ceiling, gorgeous retro chandelier, the paintings on the wall...everything really made me feel like a heroine of an old Italian movie, because this room looked a lot like what I have seen on TV. The view from our balcony came onto a busy street and personally I love looking at busy streets, I love watching people and we got a chance to observe the Italian day to day life.
We've amazing coffee and pastries for breakfast at the cafe downstairs.
This apartment type of hotel is located into an old Italian house and you have to go through a tiny door to get into the yard (as you see in TV). There is no elevator so you take the stairs to the third (if I remember correctly) floor, by the time you get up there you are beat, but happy...because the stairs equally amazing. The whole building just breathes "Italian" and that is what we actually came there for.
When we go to Naples again, this will definitely be the place we stay at, because it has an amazing location and easy access to many attractions and metro/underground/subway.

Very good location
