Excellent apartment
Matteo, the owner, offered us the apartment for our stay in five plus a dog. A true jewel, equipped with all comforts. The apartment is on the first floor and despite this there were no problems! We also used the condominium's internal parking space. Really clean facility! Metro just a few minutes walk away. Truly pleasant experience.

A Stay with Great Potential, Stained by an Unacceptable Check-out and Unsatisfactory Management at Casa Helzel
Our experience at Casa Helzel started in the best way. The location of the structure is undoubtedly excellent, offering easy access to Metro Line 1 (Materdei stop) and to many nearby places, such as the renowned Pizzeria Starita. This made getting around and exploring the area extremely convenient. In addition, the check-in process was extremely simple and smooth, allowing us to access the room smoothly and start our stay immediately in comfort.
Unfortunately, the positive impression was irretrievably compromised and the entire experience overshadowed by the handling of the check-out, which turned into an unpleasant and frustrating episode. Although the check-out time was clearly set for 12:00, we started to experience pressure and solicitation from the cleaning staff as early as 11:30. At 11:45, insistently, we were knocked on the door again.
Despite this unjustified pressure, we showed the utmost diligence: we left the room at 11:55, so five minutes before the set time limit. We then promptly stored our luggage near the laundry at 11:58, as previously agreed with the host to be able to store it in the laundry as soon as possible.
Despite our obvious punctuality (indeed, advance!), we had the unpleasant experience of distinctly hearing the cleaning staff complain loudly about our presence. Their expressions sounded like a real claim to an "accurate" exit at 12:00, completely ignoring the fact that we were entitled to stay until that time and that we were already moving away.
Immediately after, at 11:58, I reported the incident to the holder via WhatsApp, also sending a photo of the luggage to prove our exit on time and requesting a contact to clarify the situation. His answer came with a voice call at 12:26 p.m. His position was unfortunately disappointing and unsatisfactory: he claimed that he "couldn't do anything more about it" because we hadn't called him at the exact moment we were hearing complaints from staff. I tried to explain that at that time I was busy collecting my belongings and that a phone call would be difficult, but he reiterated his position.
Such an episode deeply undermines trust between host and guest. Professionalism, understanding and willingness to solve problems are expected, not unjustified pressure and a refusal to address a problem reported promptly and with all the details. Due to this unfortunate conclusion, which ruined the overall impression of the stay, we will unfortunately be forced to consider other facilities for our upcoming trips. We hope that feedback can be useful to improve check-out management and communication with guests.

A perfect stay
A fantastic place with a homey comfy feeling. Matteo is a very nice and kind guy who does his best to accommodate everyone's needs. The room was warm and super clean. The place is perfectly located a few steps far from the metro line that crosses the historic center.

esperienza nel complesso buona camera spaziosa buono il bagno vicino metro MATERDEI zona tranquilla dove si puo' anche parcheggiare, peccato per la colazione appena discreta e la camera abbastanza rumorosa dato che era praticamente su strada

B&B consigliato!! Adatto alle famiglie, vicino all’ ingresso della metro 1 e alla pizzeria storica Starita.
Pulitissimo, e nuovo, Matteo, il proprietario, ti coccola ogni mattina con le brioches fresche. Colazione abbondante.
