A fantastic stay: modern facility, very clean, and truly exceptional owners.

I stayed at AgroSicily and I must say that the experience was definitely better than expected.
The facility is very modern, well-maintained, and above all, impeccably clean. The rooms are very beautiful, bright, and well-kept, and you can clearly perceive the care with which it is managed. The outdoor spaces are also truly pleasant, with a splendid pool and a very large, well-manicured green area.
A special note of merit goes to the owners: I read some reviews that described them in a not-so-positive way, but personally I found them to be very sweet, kind, and super helpful people, always ready to meet the needs of the guests. For me, this really made the difference.
I would also like to make a clarification regarding some complaints I had read before the stay, in particular about the alleged lack of a terrace and windows. Personally, I did not encounter this problem at all: on the upper floor there is a beautiful terrace and the roof windows are huge, so much so that they make the rooms very bright and pleasant. [I am attaching photos]
In short, I find that some of the previous reviews do not do the property justice at all. My experience was completely different and, considering the cleanliness, modernity, outdoor spaces, location, and above all the hospitality of the owners, I would definitely return to AgroSicily.

NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT!

We were looking for an oasis of peace and relaxation in the countryside as well as a warm welcome, but the experience at this property was unfortunately the exact opposite. If you are looking for a quiet stay, I advise you to look elsewhere. Zero relaxation: the B&B was overrun by so many children playing with a ball (one even hit me), splashing water everywhere, screaming, and crying. Not even a sign of a lifeguard to enforce certain rules of civilized coexistence. Resting by the pool, or even reading, was impossible. Also because the pool is open to the public for day passes on the weekend. They even organized a pool party complete with music, banners, and balloons. As if that weren't enough, there is chaos in the garden, and the railroad runs right next to the property, with the sound of the train at regular intervals (even if you can't hear it from inside). The worst episode was upon arrival. We were almost scolded at the gate by the hostess because we were early for the check-in time. As soon as I rang the doorbell, the lady said to me in an annoyed tone: "It's too early!". I asked her to open anyway, aware that we would have to wait in case the room wasn't ready (check-in is at 3:30 PM - very late for a property with only 8 rooms, where check-out is at 10:30 AM - with a penalty if you leave later - but the flight is not synchronized with the check-in, so we arrived at 1:00 PM). The paradoxical thing? The room was already ready, but it was denied to us by the lady purely as a matter of principle and rigid scheduling (her husband, who was more polite, was ready to let us in). We waited, tired, on a bench next to the room that had been ready for a long time until we were sent a message that read: "The room is ready". We didn't know whether to laugh or cry, given the ridiculous and paradoxical situation. Then the lady recovered a bit, but a shred of flexibility and kindness would have completely changed the stay. Also worth noting negatively is that the safe in the room is not anchored to the wall, ergo it is unusable. In favor of the place, however, the perfect cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors (the latter cared for by a hard-working, kind member of the same family), the good breakfast (even if the time is from 8:30, very late for those who wake up early and those who go hiking early in the morning), the possibility of a good light lunch (by reservation at the reception).
Unfortunately, the management and the environment do not reflect in the slightest the idea of a welcoming and relaxing B&B. And the fact that it was the weekend and it was July does not justify anything. As an inveterate traveler, I say this with certainty. The owner now, as she has done in all the other negative reviews that define her as rude, aggressive, and intrusive, will try to dismantle the criticisms, but I would have no reason to tell a lie. We will never return to Agrosicily nor will we ever recommend it.

Is it an AirB&B, only B&B or a basic hotel?

We traveled for the new year 2026. The staff, especially Maria was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were set up being quite spacious. My main question is if it’s a B&B or a badic hotel.
If is a B&B:
It lacks the normal equipment for a b&b as the rooms do not have a kettle and/ or a kitchen where one can place and use the areas. No cooker, no fridge and not cutlery
It is a hotel:
The reception us adequate and has a friendly approach. Breakfast was good with all the Italian goodies especially this time of year. Definitely it lacks a vending machine where extra drinks, sweets can be bought.
What is lacking , which can be added at a very minor investment is
Room AC left not powered off from the isolator
No need to keep asking for karta igenica. It should be supplied as part of the housekeeping
Shower gel should be provided all through the stay and not only for one wash. The co owner said we should bring ours.
An extra room card should be given. Only one card supplied and hence being two in the room did not work.
Cleanliness was very good. Clean towels, sheets and room. Keep it up. Hot water readily available and shower pressure was excellent
The place is peaceful, well kept and excellent for a stay. Gardens and pool area are beautifully maintained. Views of the nearby Mascali up to the Etna make this place the right location for a short holiday
The owners need to decide if they are going to run the place as a hotel or a B&B. Then they equip it as such. Cannot be both. Minor improvements and definitely it can make it to the five star mark.

Dear Pierre Paul,
We thank you for sharing such a detailed review and for the kind words you spent on the staff, particularly on Maria, on the cleanliness, the breakfast, the gardens, the pool, and the view: these are aspects we greatly value.
However, we would like to clarify a fundamental point: our establishment is a B&B regularly classified as 3 stars, which is the maximum allowed by Italian regulations for this type of accommodation. We are not a hotel or an apartment, although we do offer some additional services to enhance the comfort of our guests.
For this reason, our rooms do not include kitchens, stoves, or apartment amenities. The refrigerator in the room is typically provided for accommodation facilities and not for cooking purposes. The common room is available, and upon request, we provide cutlery and glasses as an extra courtesy, not as a mandatory service.
Regarding the courtesy kit (shower gel and soaps), it is a welcome kit, as specified by regulations: daily replenishment is not mandatory. Nevertheless, we are always available to provide it again upon request, as courteously explained during the stay.
Room cleaning is carried out daily, with toilet paper replenished if missing or insufficient at the time of service; in case of higher consumption, we provide additional rolls upon request without any issues.
The decision to provide only one room key card is related to safety and energy-saving criteria, a common practice in many establishments of our category.
We welcome your suggestions, which we always consider as food for thought. At the same time, we believe it is important to emphasize our identity clearly: a B&B, compliant with current regulations, offering various additional services by choice, not obligation.
We thank you again for appreciating the tranquility of the place and the care of the outdoor spaces, and we wish you all the best for your future travels.

Amazing place to stay.

Very nice place to stay. As soon as you go through the fence you enter an oasis of peace. Beautifully landscaped garden with citrus trees. A large swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and sea views. The hosts are super friendly and ready for you. A rich breakfast by Italian standards with tasty hooded top, sandwiches, eggs, yogurt and fruit. A very nice clean room, every day the room is cleaned and regularly clean towels and sheets.
Plus also a nice base to visit Taormina and Mount Etna and of course several beaches nearby.
