Nice experience

A place I would gladly return to.. the hostess is very hospitable .. she prepares a breakfast with freshly baked homemade pastries ...the room is taken care of down to the smallest detail with a panoramic terrace ..

Splendid stay on the Gulf of Maratea.

A gem of a structure in a small village tailored for humans in a fantastic corner of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
A B&B where Angela, with her friendliness, empathy, and affability, made us feel at home, immersing us in the local life, their daily routines, and its beauties.
A splendid and bright room with a top-notch breakfast on its fantastic terrace overlooking the sea.
Reserved parking for guests even in this area that is so scarce in spaces.

Peace and breathtaking views are the setting for a charming structure, equipped with every comfort, located in a wonderful and fairytale place, surrounded by nature.
Strategic location, close to all sights, beaches, Christ the Redeemer, Marathon city, Skywalk.
The Welcoming, helpfulness, professionalism and kindness of the owner have no equal. Angela pampers the guest with its delicious breakfasts, prepared with care and attention.

unforgettable experience

In November I was in Maratea for about twenty days in an attempt to treat plantar fasciitis and tendinitis with walks in pebble beaches: the beach of Fiumicello was for me. Scrolling through the websites of local B&Bs, I came across that of MARIPOSA. Two days later I was there. How can I explain the serenity that I tried to wake up to when I was fifty years old with the roar of the waves and the fivesome of the birds? Open the shutters and see the mountains embracing the sea as it kisses the sky on the horizon. Look down and see the wonderful colors of the garden: an imposing avocado tree dominates over everything. This can be enjoyed from the terraces of the rooms of Mariposa: a small B@B (only 2 rooms) held by Angela, an exceptional person for the exquisite care of guests, the delicate discretion, the attention to meet their every need always with maximum courtesy and sincere smile. The floor of the rooms can be used for dish as much is glazed every day as everything inside the rooms equipped with every conceivable comfort. And how can we forget the scent of cakes and pancakes and pies and biscuits that Angela personally prepares every morning for her guests' breakfasts? I found health and serenity staying in Maratea at the B & B Mariposa. I would recommend it from the heart to anyone who wants / needs tranquility and beauty. I thank Maratea and all its inhabitants always courteous and caring, never intrusive or sloppy. I thank Angela.

Free parking is available on site and WiFi internet access is available. Air conditioning (hot or cold) by heat pump.
Comfortable bedroom with private bathroom with shower and a wonderful balcony with sea view.
Everything was spotless.
Very kind and helpful owner Angela, who covered us with attention from the first moment.
Excellent and abundant breakfast with fresh homemade pastries.
Absolutely recommended.
