Spectacular Sunday lunch at Corte Mantovanella

Excellent lunch at Corte Mantovanella! Everything was simply perfect: from the warm welcome to the well-kept and charming location. The dishes are those of true tradition, cooked with the highest quality raw materials that you can feel in every bite. Special thanks to John and Julia, very kind and always attentive. If you are looking for the authentic flavors of Mantua in a magical atmosphere, this is the place. We will definitely be back!"

Easter bridge 2026

we spent 3 days at Easter and we had a great time. Owners very hospitable, friendly and helpful; rich and hearty breakfast with homemade cakes, neat and clean rooms. B&B in the countryside, relaxing atmosphere about 10 minutes from Mantua. Recommended!

Questionable

Let’s say, it was a special stay.
We had to shorten our stay due to a visit from a friend and we were glad for it.
The house itself it’s nice but at the end it was nothing what I expected.
Reading the feedbacks from other guests, they praised the restaurant and food. Looking at the few pictures, we thought, we could eat there under the arches and enjoy our stay.
When we arrived, they told us that the restaurant opens only starting from 10 people. We were only the two of us and another guest. This was not mentioned on the website or on any booking sites.
The host made us a Pinsa so we didn’t have to drive around to find a restaurant. That was nice.
Breakfast is the typical Italian one (cakes and sweets). If you wish to have the salty version (eggs, meat etc.) it will cost 10€ additional.
And for that what we got, it was quite pricy.

What about ... the owners are simply fantastic .. nice hospitable. attentive and kind ... dinner and ate very well ... the owner loves the wines and the recommended wine was particular ... breakfast all prepared at home ... charming location surrounded by green .. relaxing ... unique end sept

“The”stay in Mantua

We stayed at the Court during the New Year Holidays. Everything is perfect. Host very kind and considerate, helpful and attentive, hospitable and welcoming, clean and tidy, a stone's throw from the center. We will definitely return!
