Travel to Ispica

Comfortable Accommodation, very clean recently renovated.
The room has a hairdryer and a small fridge

Comfortable lodging within easy walking distance of center

This comfortable, clean and modern B&B is just a few blocks from the main piazza and an assortment of cafes and restaurants. My single room had a single bed and all of the usual comforts, including a small fridge. One seeming drawback of the room was that a pillar blocks a view of the TV from a reclining position in bed, but the owner's father, who was there during the day, told me I could move the bed forward. Problem solved. The WiFi was not strong in my room, but it worked well enough. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. I would happily stay here again.

Sikelia is located right close to the town center is Ispica. It had all the basics: clean, close by and connected. It is a new building. There is no dining in the premises, but they provide a voucher for the cafe nearby.

Nice little B&B in the center if town

We spent one night in this place as Palazzo Gambuzza was sold out. The B&B is in a fairly modern structure close to town center. Within walking distance of two restaurants and one bar. Rooms are well appointed and clean with a small flat screen TV. The shower was a bit capricious though. It was basically impossible to maintain a steady water temperature. The water went from hot to cold to hot again. Probably a problem with the water mixer. Staff is very friendly and the daughter of the family speaks vey good English. There is no breakfast in the house. One gets a voucher that can be exchanged for a coffee and a croisant at a nearby coffee shop/bar. So breakfast is below average for Italy. There is an elevator from half a stair up. Rooms are also a bit noisy as the walls are thin. So if you are a light sleeper you will hear your fellow travellers come and go at night. WiFi bandwith was very limited. So expect slow response times when on line.
