Via Roma on Ischia begins in the port. Hotel Conte is at the start and continues close to shore bringing you to the point. It has so many places to eat and shop that you don't need a car unless you want to explore other parts of island. I stayed 2 weeks and I was completely satisfied during my stay Staff were polite and accommodating. Rooms cleaned every day and spotless. I would definitely stay there again. I left at 5:30am to catch ferry and the night manager asked if I'd like a coffee or anything else. I was so close to port that I actually could of had the coffee. Got on ferry with a smile on my face because there was none of the usual stress getting there on time. Ciao

I highly recommend

Hotel located practically on the main street, near the sea, near the bus stop, near the port, practically ideal location.
Friendly staff, clean rooms with basic furnishings, careful to close the doors well because they have particular system (ask for info at reception).
The only thing I would improve is the sweet breakfast, I would add a few more choices or simply improve the quality of the two cakes already present, good croissants.

Ischia in the family

Central hotel, walking distance from the port, smiling and courteous Welcoming staff, the room small but extremely clean, with comfortable bathroom and balcony. Breakfast quite varied, richer for the salty taste, we did on their balcony overlooking the course, fair price (stay at the end of July). Honestly we had a good time and will certainly return, thank you and everyone!

Positive experience

We stayed a week in June this year after the experience made in July 2020. We were also pleased with the change of management. Friendly and helpful staff for any request. Very good breakfast with sweet and savory food. The Spartan rooms but with everything you need, mattresses and comfortable beds. On a negative note the shower a little small and annoying mosquitoes. In addition being our room on the street side times you could hear the people below us, in the garden, even late (between one and two). We could still go back
