A stone's throw from the genoa brignole railway station and the national theater of Genoa
We enjoyed it but the lack of a reception feels
A few more sugar packets because if we take coffee then we can not sugar the tea.

Nightmare night, THEY ENTERED OUR ROOM WITHOUT CONSENT
Calling it a 'hotel' is a huge compliment. It is simply a banal apartment converted into a room rental.
The 'reception' is nothing more than the entrance hallway of a house, onto which the room doors open. It feels like being in an improvised hostel or in forced cohabitation with strangers, with zero privacy and an embarrassing level of squalor.
I booked on booking and it was not written anywhere that the bathroom WAS SHARED!
The level of cleanliness was embarrassing; there was hair everywhere, dust, dirty bathroom fixtures, and above all, the floor was perpetually wet from whoever had showered previously.
We found the room's closet completely full of pillows and sheets, hopefully clean....
To welcome us, we found a woman in a bathrobe, with whom there were several misunderstandings since she did not speak Italian well.
Luckily, we only stayed one night, and the morning before check-out, this woman OPENED THE DOOR TO OUR ROOM WITHOUT OUR CONSENT, looked at us, and closed the door again.
I believe this is unacceptable; I even went to talk to her to ask for an explanation, and she told me she wanted to see if we were in the room to know if she needed to clean, but we had a door hanger available to display only if we wanted the room cleaned. Not having hung it up, it was obvious and taken for granted that we did not want anyone in our room.
Furthermore, the “double bed” was not one at all; it was simply 2 single beds pushed together.
In conclusion, save your money and go elsewhere; any other accommodation will certainly be better than this.
