Disappointed
We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and loved it! We hyped it up so much and couldn’t wait to return. Brought along another family with us raving about the beach and sea steps away. Well, we were extremely disappointed this time around, it was a huge let down. There is no sand, only mounds of seaweed. I understand seaweed is natural but the hotels to the right all had clean sand which tells me our hotel decided to neglect their part in the clean up for their guests. I have attached a few photos and in one you can see the hotels in the background, nice and clean. We had different stories given to us about the government coming to clean but again, we were the ONLY hotel with an unpleasant dirty beach. It’s just a shame because the water is so incredible and we know what it can look like, to pay a decent amount of money each night and get an unkept area, which is what you’re coming for, is disappointing . Also, constantly being wakened up by an awful noise. Not sure where it’s coming from, some sort of machine or pump maybe? Not sure but what a let down.

Not at all what was shown on the pictures. We had booked a room with direct access to the beach, and it was said that the hotel offered sunbeds and umbrellas. These had to be booked early in the morning at a cost of 15 Euros. The beach was a public beach and we experienced people sitting practically at our door step. We were staying over a weekend and also a public holiday, the beach was packed with people. The beach was also partly cover in seaweed. We were informed that it would be cleaned after the weekend, but didn’t happen until Wednesday, and it was not completely cleaned.
There is a nice restaurant on the roof, but no other restaurant in the neighborhood. Do not stay here unless you have a car.
Breakfast was excellent, amongst the very best we have seen in Italy.

Not as advertised! “Seaweed Bay”
My wife & I booked this place for our honeymoon. (We are currently still here) but what we purchased & what we are getting are vastly opposite. The room is great but we wanted beach side & paid for a clean beautiful beach. (See first pick as they advertise) THEN see all of the other pics of what the beach currently looks like. There is a massive about of seaweed. I approached management & they are slow & evasive to explain why they are not addressing this mess asap. Yes, I know seaweed blooms sometimes happen, but the response here is lame & irresponsible. Its not safe either! Glass could be hiding in these 2to 3 foot piles of seaweed & I have seen numerous kids running through them. Oh ya, & the smell! Totally irresponsible not as advertised! Cancel your reservation & go to Palermo or Sardinia!

Disappointing experience
I thought I would find a clean and well-kept beach... but since it was a public one, there was everything... the property is well-located, but the terrible service wipes out any expectations.

It's not worth it
Remarkable location: you are on the beach BUT... it turns out that the beach is public and if you don't have the umbrella and sunbeds set up (but every day? do we have to say it continuously...) you find people lying in front of your little door. Unfortunately, it must be said that the mass of seaweed (posidonia) along the entire first strip of sand IS A LETDOWN. You must remove it at least in part. It is true that it is forbidden to eliminate it, but with a tracked wheelbarrow you can move it in 2 hours every 2-3 days and the beach is something else entirely. At night, headlights in front shining on the glass... worth noting, fix it! Then exceptional water, white and soft sand for 2-300 meters. Swimming in the morning at 7 a.m. 7 is spectacular. Among the most beautiful Italian seas. HOTEL: barely sufficient for what you pay, more than 400 euros per day is not up to par: Good, high-quality breakfast, without a doubt. But insufficient aperitifs; a seasoned tomato? not received!! . sufficient staff. ROOM: but is it possible that there is NO small table or 2-3 shelves for things, books, cell phone?? I put books, PC, cell phone on the floor. BATHROOM very good shower, Air conditioning very good. Bed just right. I will not return because the beach in such a state with the filth is off-putting...Reserved parking with a barrier: a nightmare to enter: I scraped a door: but is there anyone capable of calculating the path and maneuvering space without having to make 3, I say at least 3 maneuvers every single time, to enter and exit? come on. It is not worth 4-500 € per day= 6-7k just for the hotel like this, no
