Great place to stay. Highly recommended for short stays Scored 9.0

The location is perfect if you look for a room nearby the airport or the little towns of Maccarese, Fregene, Fiumicino.
We had our car, so I did not investigate about the public transport.
The place is clean and really very well maintained and the idea of refurbish the silos is great in my opinion.
The room was comfortable and it had all what we needed.
The owner was super kind with us. We met her in the morning and she start chatting with us and answering all our curious questions concerning the idea of buying and refurbishing such a structure. She also offer us coffees and croissants even if we did not have the breakfast included.
Frankly speaking we stayed one night and there was nothing that we did not like.
The only small drawback that we have experienced is that we did not manage to turn on the air conditioning.
Probably we were doing something wrong, but it was too late to bother the owner.
Fortunately it was not too warm, but we had to keep the window open (mosquito net at all widows).
Off course, being close to an international airport means that you have the noise of the planes to consider, but for us it was not a problem even with the window open.
Another obvious thing to consider is that the stairs are small and twist around the tower, so big luggages are not the easiest thing to carry upstairs.

The Silo of beautiful dreams

Lovely and particular location, close to the sea of Maccarese .The rooms inside a silo, are very cozy and comfortable. Recommended for couples and also for families who intend to spend days of complete relaxation away from the noise traffic and smog of città.La owner is friendly, kind, attentive and considerate towards the guests of the Guest house

Disappointing

The place is certainly atypical but devoid of comfort, especially if you choose the top floor..
Vertical spiral staircase, the room is small, the bedding too, the morning comings and goings are noisy, some planes will also remind you that you are close to the airport

Between sea and countryside

Pleasant and original bed & breakfast created from an old agricultural silo located next to one of the largest agricultural properties in Italy currently owned by the Benetton family. Bucolic and peaceful environment, except for the planes passing through the nearby Fiumicino airport. The rooms are simple but equipped with the necessary and sufficiently large, mine also has a nice terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside. Convenient secure parking. Friendly staff and good breakfast, the price is really competitive. The only flaw is the bed which was not firm enough for my taste. However, definitely recommended

Va bene

Sparkling clean! Very special Converted silo near the Bau Beach and farmland. A perfect getaway near the beautiful waterfront. If you are up to it, ride your bike to the Sea. Sweet, quaint, small city with a manicured garden town square and umbrella pines. Wonderful seafood served at the Piazza restaurant.
Dominga is wonderful and gracious host. Nice, healthy breakfast each am. Love it!
