Wonderful stay in Bormio!!!
Elegant, welcoming, and relaxing hotel with that light scent that envelops you as soon as you enter, the room very beautiful and clean with a spectacular view, the staff kind and polite, the cuisine good, a special praise to the professionalism of the maître d' and to the competence and reliability of the Manager.
A must-try! I highly recommend it!

A great shame
We stayed for a week at this hotel. The hotel is very beautiful, central location very convenient even if not very quiet. At the reception, the staff is very kind and helpful; we made some requests during our stay and they were all promptly met with extreme cordiality and professionalism.
BUT LET'S GET TO THE SORE POINT: we ate terribly, especially at dinner, the dishes were often inedible; one evening, even though we had paid for half-board, out of desperation we chose to eat out... the service in the dining room was chaotic and totally in disarray, especially due to the evident incompetence of the head waiter, who, in addition to professional incompetence, also had absolutely questionable manners with the guests.
What a shame! We will not return nor will we recommend it for this reason.

Ci teniamo tuttavia a precisare alcuni aspetti. Ci sorprende leggere una descrizione così negativa della ristorazione, dal momento che durante il soggiorno non ci erano state segnalate problematiche di tale entità. Qualora un ospite riscontri un problema, siamo sempre disponibili ad ascoltarlo e a intervenire tempestivamente per cercare di risolverlo.
Non possiamo inoltre condividere la descrizione del nostro servizio di sala come “caotico e totalmente allo sbando”. Il nostro staff lavora con impegno e professionalità e riteniamo doveroso tutelare il lavoro delle persone che ogni giorno si dedicano ai nostri ospiti.
Per quanto riguarda il maître, l'episodio a cui fate riferimento è nato da una semplice spiegazione relativa a un servizio non incluso nella colazione. Riteniamo che il nostro personale debba sempre mantenere educazione e professionalità, ma allo stesso modo meriti rispetto da parte degli ospiti. Una critica è assolutamente legittima, ma quando si arriva a dichiarare di voler “punzecchiare” il personale per provocarne le reazioni, riteniamo che si oltrepassi il limite del rispetto reciproco.
Ci dispiace che abbiate concluso il soggiorno con questa percezione, ma riteniamo corretto tutelare anche il lavoro e la professionalità delle persone che vi hanno assistito durante la vostra permanenza.

Short, pleasant stay in Bormio!!
Hotel adjacent to the historic center of Bormio
(the town was a surprise, very pretty and interesting!... worth visiting!!),
The property offers a splendid (well-kept!) garden.
Free on-site parking
and a large garage (for a fee).
The reception is definitely charming and very welcoming: the manager, Ms. Anna, is pleasant and meets every need!.... as does all the staff, for that matter!
Spacious, bright rooms, almost all with a terrace; bathrooms with windows.
Very varied breakfast of excellent quality, both savory and sweet.
Dinner is also good (with a choice of fish every day... not common in mountain locations!)
We will definitely repeat our stay there on our next trip!!

A good address in Bormio
A superb hotel, well placed in the village. A friendly staff. Breakfast on top.
Triple room very well with small terrace Small gym. Outdoor or indoor parking (paid) spa (paid, and rather expensive I find) good smell. Frankly that’s good, the free spa for residents, since the hotel is not given, would be a plus.
