A bit like home...
Clean and quiet environment.
Comfortable beds (I suffer from back pain and when I sleep outside it's always a tragedy).
In our case the bathroom was for exclusive use, but outside the room. For us it wasn't a problem. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

TO AVOID
EXTREMELY uncomfortable bed which does not allow you to rest adequately as it forms a "basin": perhaps due to the old bases.
Wooden window frames with GLASS from the 60s/70s (extremely THIN and delicate / fragile). The windows made in this way do not isolate from external noise, so much so that at 6.30 am the chimes (about 60) of the bells can be heard as if they were in the house.
New bathroom but without window.
Abundant Italian breakfast, without juices or yogurt.
REPREHENSIBLE THING: after the review on booking, the owner Ermenegildo writes to me privately and among other things states: "STAY AT YOUR HOUSE... ONLY PROFESSIONALS CAN TAKE CARE OF YOU"

TO AVOID
EXTREMELY uncomfortable bed that does not allow you to rest adequately as the mattress "dimples" perhaps due to the bed bases which, as long as they look new, are of old manufacture.
Wooden window frames with SINGLE glazing from the 60s/70s (extremely thin and delicate / fragile).
New and well-made bathroom although without a window. The Italian breakfast is sufficiently abundant even without fruit juices or yogurt.
INCREDIBLE NOTE: the owner Mr Ermenegildo two days after my wife's review (with the same contents / tones) writes to me privately, I booked in my name (I saved the chat which I don't publish for privacy) and among other things he tells me:
"... stay at home... Only professionals can treat her."

Una notte a Bertiolo (con le campane)!
Il proprietario è molto gentile, disponibile e ci ha preparato una ottima colazione.
Parcheggio interno alla struttura.
Lo consiglio, veramente una piccola chicca.
Ma, e per questo non ho messo le 5 stelle, armatevi di tappi per orecchie... il mio sonno è stato scandito ogni ora dalle campane della chiesa del paese. Forse il mio sonno è leggero, mio marito e mio figlio non hanno sempre sentito le campane.... vi consiglio comunque i tappi!
