Un hotel sicuro con personale gentile

I stayed in spacious apartments on the ground floor. There's a large bedroom, a hallway, and another room with a table, chairs, and a sofa. Both rooms have access to a large balcony overlooking the inner courtyard.
The bathroom has everything you need: a bathtub, sink, bidet, toilet, and hairdryer. There's hot water available 24/7.
The double bed is comfortable. The bed linen and towels are clean and spotless. The apartments are cleaned daily.
There's also a small kitchenette with all the essentials: a kettle, fridge, stove, sink, microwave, dishes, tea & coffee.
The reception is available from 8 AM to 8 PM. After 8 PM, access to the residence is by guest card.
Visa Residence has an elevator.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment has useful information prepared in advance about Bari's attractions, nearby shops, restaurants, and pizzerias, as well as clear instructions for guests.
Overall, I liked the apartment itself. The only downside is the location – it’s about a 30-40 minute walk to the city center. Dante Alighieri Street is quite busy and not very comfortable for pedestrians.
There's a bus stop within 5-10 minutes, and the train station Brigata is about 10-15 minutes away. Nearby, you can find an affordable pizzeria, a bakery with fresh pastries, pharmacies, and grocery stores.
Cons: location (it’s far from the city center and the main train station Bari Centrale), no parking, no nice views. The street where Visa Residence is located looks a bit run-down; in the evenings there's an unpleasant smell from the garbage bins and the surroundings feel rather bleak. But that's a downside of the location, not of the residence itself.

Very comfortable

Spacious, comfortable and fully equipped rooms. Good cleaning and warm concierge. It is a little far from the historic center

The accommodation was super nice and you could reach everything on foot. The bus station and train station are a 20-minute walk away. The description of the accommodation says Shuttle Bus Airport, but this refers to the buses at the railway station. It is very difficult to get a taxi.

- very busy area, many many cars, but good parking garage 10m from front door
- large rooms and kitchen
- air conditioner did not work on first and hot night, clerk claimed he fixed it while we were out on second day - it was not fixed; after several calls and a repairman visit they moved us to another room (a very poor sleep the first night, time to deal with the repairman and move our belongings, and then the other apartments air conditioning barely worked) - no apology, no comp.
- bottom line, big apartment, OK if you need to be in Bari, tired facilities, below average help
