Cycling trip oasis

We found the staff of this hotel immensely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Sam's English is good, and he was a fount of information on cycling routes, restaurants and the area. We could store our bikes safely on the back patio.

Great Family-run Hotel - Right In The Centre of Argenta And With a Friendly Atmosphere...

I chose this hotel as one of two we eventually used for a group visit in July. When we visited it to check out the area earlier this year (2016), we were greeted in a most warm, welcoming and helpful way. As I didn't speak Italian, I thought it was going to be awkward planning the main trip in July, but Sam the owner spoke very good English and helped us locate places to visit and people to speak to. I cannot thank him enough for making my task so much easier. Sam's mother, Graziella was brilliant and (although speaking no English) looked after us very well and with great sense of humour - she seemed to get the Brit sense of humour too.
During the intervening period between my planning and then arriving with a large part of the group, we had a number of questions that needed answering - all of which Sam was able to sort out which made my life so much easier. During our stay in July, Sam & his Mother endeared themselves to all of us and made sure our stay (4 nights) went without a hitch. All the group who stayed there remarked on the friendly atmosphere, being made welcome and part of the family.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking to stay in a quiet, absolutely centrally-located hotel in Argenta, to try this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the bathrooms roomy and the showers good. There are plenty of good-quality bars and restaurants within walking distance (one is right next door!) and Sam will be happy to recommend one for you.
I would certainly go back for another visit (to be honest, the whole town seemed friendly towards us which is always a relief when you visit new places) and in fact, I have just had an email from Sam telling me I left my sandals there and he wants me to collect them!

Nice, fairly basic hotel

Arrived around 11-1200 pm hot and sweaty on my bike. Recommended by the police on the edge of town! The host spoke excellent English and my room was clean and cool. No fuss about putting my bike somewhere safe. I left very early before the bakery delivery so no breakfast but the owner insisted I have a cup of coffee which was the best on ,my trip. Host a charming man to talk to. It was in Aug 2014 but tripadvisor won't let me go that far back.

very nice hotel

hello sam. I stayed in room 13 for 8 nights it was very nice and very clean, I had a wonderfull time staying there, nothing was to much trouble for sam and his mother. they are very very nice caring people. and very friendly. I can highly recommend the hotel to stay at, WELL DONE TO BOTH OF YOU, xxx
