Highly recommended

Friendly staff, courtesy, competence, cleanliness and attention to detail, our trullo number 34 was really nice, attention to detail the possibility of a second double bed accessible by a staircase in legno.un small back garden with two deckchairs very intimate.l last trullo of the small alley so with very few people. The only flaw if I have to find a defect, the breakfast brought in the basket box, a little 'poor, but we had a great time

Lost looking for a Trulli

The town of Alberobello is a sheer delight but go out of season as it is swamped with coaches of tourist by day especially on a Sunday.
We were travelling as two couples and our accommodation was not close to each other. One couple had a trulli a good 5 min walk from us and when we arrived there was no one there to help us find each location. The taxi dropped us and sent us to the street where the reception is but they shut up sending us texts with photos of what our front doors looked like and the street names but we struggled as one street led into another and after a long day traveling we were tired and had to haul our suitcases back and forth trying to find where we would be staying. The receptionist was right when they told us the taxi would drop us half way between the two accommodations but we were totally disorientated and without any other information we were lost.
Communication before departing was great and very helpful. They booked us a good taxi and Alberobello is delightful. Dropped our bags and then went to find an evening meal, plenty of places to eat and live entertainment on the streets. It was beautiful, a warm night with lots of children out with their families enjoying the evening. You felt like you were part of an Italian celebration and I suppose we were.
A comfortable night's sleep and we were off.

Trullie disapointing - not like the photos

Not what I was expecting, the Trullie we were given was dated, tired and worn. The bathroom was in major need of a refit. The soft furnishings are horrid, the bedcovers are full of threads and pulls and look like a relic from 50's. The bedside table came away in my hand as it is not screwed to the brackets. The two armchairs are noticeably worn. The plug is missing from the bathroom sink, no soap supplied so nothing to wash your hands with. Lots of marks on walls. The Trullie we occupied is located at top of very steep hill, within a construction zone and when we asked, we were told they start working about 7am. Very noisy area (you can hear people talking outside). I dont have anything good to say, its daggy and awful. Big disappointment, not what I was expecting, not like the photos on the website. Definitely would not recommend.

I don't understand the breakfast policy

The first thing to keep in mind is that it is not a traditional hotel, of those in which the reception, the rooms and the restaurant are in one building. This hotel is a fuzzy hotel, that means each room is a separate and independent traditional trullo or house. The charm is to stay like this, in a trullo, modernized of course, where you also have all the necessary amenities. The one who touched my wife and I also had a garden just for us to enjoy the sunsets. We just had to be especially careful with the low, very low arches between one room and another. Watch your head. In short, I would come back, but for breakfast: It is served in a nearby restaurant and is a prearranged breakfast, not buffet. And it is very scarce, you only have the right to one drink, be it juice or coffee, not both, we ask for the option with sandwich and juice. If you’re used to a variety of fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, desserts and more and serving yourself to your liking, forget it. This is the first time in our traveler years that we had to buy coffee and other accessories in the same restaurant and pay for them separately. I found that unacceptable.

Amazing Customer Service!

We didn’t stay at the hostel but went there to check for a room, and we were helped by the most wonderful people: Margot and her kind father. They went above and beyond to help us find a place, showing genuine care that would make anyone’s trip unforgettable. What a gem!
We already feel like we need to return to Alberobello, stay in their charming and unique space, and spend more time in this lovely little town.
We can’t comment on the rooms themselves, but the hospitality and customer service are unbeatable. Oh, and they also have the sweetest little cats around, which makes the experience even more special.
100 out of 100!
