Fantastic

Fantastic stay at Berkeley house, place felt fresh and comfortable as soon as we walked in, the room was clean fresh and comfortable, the place was nice and quiet, the digital key idea, very clever, overall can not fault the place, ideal location with everything close by. Will definitely be returning.

Just fab

Location is just perfect for walking distance to all of the essential site seeing areas of kilkenny. The service was top notch no issues with self check in. The room was average but defected the price (which was reasonable for location and quality of room and service), will be recommending to friends who are planning a trip to the marble city

Great little guest house me and my spouse loved it.

Berkeley House is a lovely little guest house that feels just like a home away from home. The welcome is super friendly, and the rooms are clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. I got an amazing waffle and coffee in a little place called Louie’s downstairs from Berkeley house it’s an amazing place to stop for breakfast. Berkeley house all over is In a nice quiet spot but still close to everything you want to see. If you’re looking for a chill place to stay with great service, Berkeley House is definitely worth checking out!

Dreadful experience

Booked Berkley house through Revalute. Paid upfront. Arrived in Kilkenny phoned the no on the booking confirmation on revalute site. I was told to fill in form on email attachment, I told Toni that I hadn't received an email she said check your scam and junk mail, I did no email was sent. She said to call her when I arrive at the front door and shed let us in remotely. I did and she let us in the main door and the bedroom. She said the key card would be on the bed and it was.
We rested for an hour we didn't use the bed or shower. We decided to go for dinner and my sister said let's just check the key and....if didn't work. We held the door open and checked the front door and that also didn't work.
We phoned the no we had and it said to phone the out of hours no that was in the confirmation email...I didn't get a confirmation email. We looked around the room and no no was there only the WiFi code on the door.
We had to leave and return to Dublin.
It's a miracle we checked the door before leaving as it would have been a totally different story.
The property was contacted by the booking agent and they said there was a box with the emergency no in it, no box was in the room
We lost our money and our time in Kilkenny. My sister is over from Australia and we were visiting Kilkenny on memory of our mother
