Clean & comfy with great food and location!

While the hotel is a bit dated, the staff is friendly and attentive, the food is great, and the rooms are clean and comfy. The best part is the location - around the corner from pubs with lively music and shopping. Just a heads-up that there are no USB-C outlets, no hair-dryers, and no conditioner in the rooms. To cool the room, we simply opened the window. The included breakfast was even better than dinner - truly lovely spread in a beautifully windowed space.

Great Location, helpful staff, clean hotel.

Stayed here with my family for a short break, it was easily accessible with good car parking. Location to the town was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.

Pleasant Surprise

Veronica was the welcoming face needed after a long drive through the Burren.
Aundrea was wonderful to chat with about local stuff and we shared a laugh about the terrifying drive over Conor’s pass outside of Dingle.
Finally, Mihai made me a delicious mixed drink called the Bees Knees. Pleasant surprise our stay at Temple Gate and I loved the history of the place.

Very friendly helpful staff in all departments from check-in at reception to the staff in the Gastro bar - where the food was excellent.
Very central location for the town of Ennis. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel.
